It is that state of affairs in your career that demonstrate you are having a
best of time and the result are showing as the function of your input in your
career.
Aristotle said, “Excellence is an habit". We are what we repeatedly do.
Excellence is about bringing value to the market or workplace.
Career Excellence is the function of the daily choices we make in the
pursuit of our careers.
The road to career excellence will require deliberate efforts. It won’t come
by accident nor by wishing. Career Excellence is a result of our extra
ordinary input to deliver extra ordinary experience in our career.
3. Your personal philosophy. Your personal belief system is critical to the
attainment of career excellence in your pursuit. Your belief system drives
the way you deliver result, the way you comport yourself, the way you relate
to people in the workplace. It drives how much input you are ready to invest
in your career.
What do you envision about your career? What do you see? What’s the end
game for you?
How well do you understand your profession? Competence is key.
Do you have the know-how and right skill set? How willing are you to be
able to build your skill to arrive at the various level of competence required
for your job.

How far do you want to go?
How prepared are you to reach the height? How prepared are you to take
the long road that require for you to attain the pinnacle of your career.

Be open to learning as a lifestyle.
Be early. Lateness can ruin your experience.
Always prepare for meetings. Prepare your day.
Get a personal journal.
Think on paper.
Focus on results. It's a world of results.
Demonstrate commitment to duty and assigned task.
Imbibe consistency as lifestyle.
Make mistakes only once and learn from them fast.
Be open to coaching and mentorship.
Dress for where you are going.

8. In closing, with every sense of responsibility the result of our career
experience is a function of how much we are willing to invest, our time,
our energy and our resources into bringing out the colour and all of the
dignity that are ascribed to career excellence.
Why this is important is because how far we want to go is a function of
how much we are willing to invest.
Career Excellence is available for everyone but you must be ready to
make required investment of time, energy and resources to make it
happen.
