4. Introduction
 Op-amp based movement detecting light has a great
influence on the security system.
 In order to improve and make security more tight,
this device which is made on the principle of voltage
comparator is more reliable.

5. Concept
 The voltage on the inverting input is kept fixed by using the
variable resistor.
 The voltage input in the non-inverting point is the voltage
which is to compare with the inverting point.
 While the voltage on inverting
point is less than the non-inverting
point, then the op-amp pass signal
voltage through it.

 LDR
 Op-Amp (LM324)
 Resistors (39K, 10K-2)
Variable Resistor (100K)
LED

9.  It can be used to control the entrance in different important
places.
 It can be used to secure peoples’ residence from unwanted
entry.
 It can be used for protecting the valuable antiques and things
kept in the museum.
 Using a buzzer in place of the LED, it can also be used as
security alarm.
 It can also be used for attractive lighting decoration in many
occasion.
Application

10.  It works only in absence of sunlight.
The temperature has an effect on the IC LM324. It works well
between 16-85 degree centigrade.
