An in vivo brain-distribution study was carried out using Wistar albino rats divided into two groups of six animals each. For the first group, a drug suspension was administered intranasally by holding the rats in a slanted position. For the second group, a plain drug suspension was administered intravenously via tuberculin syringe. The rats were euthanized using CO2 at different time intervals after blood collection via retro-orbital puncture. Their brains were then excised for analysis.
