4. INTRODUCTION
• Indian Government, at all levels, announces Welfare
Schemes for a cross section of the society from time to
time. These schemes could be either Central, State
specific or a joint collaboration between the Centre and
the States.
• The service rendered by the department is basically
advisory, and motivate towards the diversification of
Agriculture.
• These services are extended through various activities
such as extension services, arranging farmer's visits
and training camps, and etc..,
5. ABSTRACT
• Government Scheme Management System Software
takes care of the activities related to the schemes
provided by the government. The major responsibility is
to take care of the proper utilization of different schemes
in a transparent way.
• This system design is modularized into various
categories covering the internal official management
concepts associated with the information of the
panchayats and user applications with different levels of
abstraction.
6. SYSTEM ANALYSIS
After analyzing the requirements of the task to
be performed, the next step is to analyze the problem
and understand its context. The first activity in the phase
is studying the existing system and other is to
understand the requirements and domain of the new
system.
• Requirement Analysis
• Project Planning
• System design
• Detail design
• Unit testing
• integration testing & validatiton testing
7. EXISTING SYSTEM
Current system is a manual one in every panchayat
displays the list of available schemes provided by the Government.
It invites the applications from the eligible users based on certain
criteria. All the applications are verified at panchayat level and then
approved applications are sent to District level for approval. All the
approved users avail the benefits of the scheme.
Disadvantages
• It is not secure to maintain important information manually
• More manual hours need to generate required reports
User need to wait more time to get his application status.
• Data is not in sync in case of manual system.
8. PROPOSED SYSTEM
Proposed system is a software application
which avoids more manual hours that need to spend in
record keeping and generating reports. This application
keeps the data in a centralized way which is available to
all the users simultaneously. It is very easy to manage
historical data in database.
ADVANTAGES
• Easy to track the status of applications at any level at
any point of time
• Can generate required reports easily
• Easy to manage historical data in a secure manner
• Centralized database helps in avoiding conflicts
• Easy to use GUI that does not requires specific training.
9. FEASIBILITY STUDY
• A feasibility study is carried out in order to present
management with alternatives.
• The feasibility study consists of the following points.
• What are the user’s demonstrable needs and how does
it need them?
• What resources are available for the given system?
• Is the problem worth solving?
• What is the likely impact of the system on the
organization?

11. SYSTEM DESIGN
NORMALIZATION
It is a process of converting a relation to a
standard form. The process is used to handle the
problems that can arise due to data redundancy i.e.
repetition of data in the database, maintain data
integrity as well as handling problems that can arise due
to insertion, updating, deletion anomalies
14. DATABASE DESIGN
Field Name Data Type Size
APP ID INT 11
SCHEME ID INT 20
APP NAME VARCHAR 50
APP ADDRESS VARCHAR 255
STAGE VARCHAR 20
STATUS VARCHAR 25
REMARKS VARCHAR 255
PANCHAYAT ID INT 10
DISTRICT ID INT 10

15. SYSTEM TESTING
Testing is the process of detecting errors.
Testing performs a very critical role for quality assurance
and for ensuring the reliability of software. The results of
testing are used later on during maintenance also.
Unit Testing:
Unit testing focuses verification effort on the
smallest unit of software i.e. the module. Using the
detailed design and the process specifications testing is
done to uncover errors within the boundary of the
module. All modules must be successful in the unit test
before the start of the integration testing begins.
16. INTEGRATION TESTING
After the unit testing we have to perform integration testing.
The goal here is to see if modules can be integrated properly, the
emphasis being on testing interfaces between modules. This testing
activity can be considered as testing the design and hence the
emphasis on testing module interactions.
VALIDATION TESTING
Validation testing is where requirements established as a
part of software requirement analysis is validated against the
software that has been constructed This test provides the final
assurance that the software meets all functional, behavioral and
performance requirements. The errors, which were not uncovered
during integration testing, are found out and corrected during this
phase.
17. SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION
Implementation is the stage of
the project when the theoretical design is
turned out into a working system. Thus it can
be considered to be the most critical stage in
achieving a successful new system and in
giving the user, confidence that the new
system will work and be effective.
22. FUTURE PLANS
Every application has its own merits and
demerits. The project has covered almost all the
requirements.
Further requirements and improvements
can easily be done since the coding is mainly structured
or modular in nature.
Changing the existing modules or adding
new modules can append improvements.
Further enhancements can be made to the
application, so that the web site functions very attractive
and useful manner than the present one.
23. CONCLUSION
Government Scheme Management System is a
software application to automate the process for
utilization of various schemes provided by government
for various panchayats.
