2. MAIN MISSION
- To go beyond the realms of ‘social media’ and
expand further on building an online profile
and identity.
- Build a profile and develop it as a media
professional researcher.
4. PROFESSIONAL ID’S
Below is a screenshot of my vimeo website and
the videos that I have uploaded. Videos can be
accessed by everyone and shared between people
making the community all about videos and
content. * Vimeo is a U.S. based video-sharing
website on which users can upload, share
and view videos.
* Compared to YouTube, both have
different uses whilst still having the main
content of video uploaded online onto
one server and broadcasting it to millions.
* The community of vimeo is what is
unique – filled with indie filmmakers and
a vast numbers of people with a passion
for film making it solely a video website.
5. MY ID HUB
* In order to keep out of
the realm of using ‘social
media’ for
enjoyment/friends, I have
chosen to use my academic
blog (Wordpress) as my
main ID Hub.
* The reason for using this
is as my main ID Hub is
because I access it everyday
and feed everything into it,
as well as this, it is a very
professional platform that
can be used in the
workforce.

7. THE DIFFERENT SPACES WITHIN THE ID
* Facebook – Personal space but the ID can share to a wider
public, providing biography details, past works, other links to
websites.
* YouTube – Shares and contributes my personal and
professional works with a bigger and larger community across the
globe.
* deviantART – To share and contribute with creative work that
people have made. To collaborate and share ideas/multimedia
with other people.
* Vimeo – Share professional work with a student body on a
solely video platform.
* ABC Pool – To share and contribute with creative work in a
local community and collaborate with people who make it.

p=1002 This blog entry
basically talked about
Facebook and what it
entails as a platform
as well as my own
personal thoughts and
findings about the
website.
The post is entitled ‘Facepuke’ as I wanted to
make and give my personal opinion on what I
think about the website after analyzing the
website in a social media industry/platform.

This blog post for me was basically some initial
research on ABC Pool as it was a new platform
for me. It also has some thoughts on ABC
Pool and the set-up of my Pool. I found ABC
Pool now reflecting on it to be a interactive
social community which has a big emphasis on
sharing work and collaborating.

about social media sites I never heard of and I
give my response to these platforms and why I
think it plays an important/un-important role in
social media.
