This Week’s Assignments
Reading – This week in Reading we will talk about making connections. We
will also talk about how to take our connections and turn them into thoughtful
log entries.
Writing – Students will begin a story that they would like to take through the
writing process. Students will begin with a story map and their rough draft.
Spelling – Students will be given Unit 4 Spelling words for the week.
*Grammar practice is now coming home on Monday, seperate from their
spelling list. We will complete the first few together and the students will
complete the rest at home to turn in on Friday. They will be tested over the
words on Friday.
Math – We are at the end of our Unit and students will have an end of the Unit
assessment on Monday. We will then begin studying line plots; how to read
data on a line plot and how to construct a line plot.
Social Studies - We are continuing with our unit on Missouri's regions.
Students will work in groups to create a poster of one of the five regions. We
