Ingredients:
Vegetables: cabbage, celery, leeks, onions,
carrots, potatoes
Meat: minced pork and beef, pork nose and
ear, chicken, sausages, bacon…
Pasta and chickpeas
15. SOUP AND STEWS
1. Put the vegetables and the pork, chicken and
beef into a big pot.
2. Boil them for 3 hours.
16. 3. After 2 and a half hours add the chickpeas and
mince meat.
4. Strain the broth and boil the pasta in a separate
pot.
17. 5. Finally, put the ingredients of the stock onto a
tray.
6. Eat the soup first and then the stew.
19. CATALAN CREAM
INGREDIENTS:
• A liter of full-cream milk.
• 140g of sugar.
• Half of a cinnamon stick.
• Half of a lemon peel.
• 8 egg yolks.
• One and a half of a soup
spoon of corn flour.
20. 1. Separate the 8 egg
yolks of the white from
the egg in a bowl.
1.Add the corn flour
into the bowl where the
egg yolks are.
1.When the milk is boiling
you have to remove a
little milk and add the
yolks. Then grind with a
blender.
21. 4. When it's all blending,
you have to add the milk
that we have boiling on
the fire and you have to
mix until it is thick.
5. You have to move it
away from the hob and
put it on a Chinese
strainer.
6. Then, when you have
the cream you put it in a
bowl and leave it to rest
in the fridge.
