1. Enabling Social Entrepreneurs

2. In 2010, Bhupesh Sharma, an engineer from University of Mumbai,
set up his company, Breson, which was later nominated in the top
companies in TATA FIRST DOT. The purpose of Breson was to
take on the challenges of economic green energy generation in urban
areas, rural electrification and improving irrigation systems.
The budding social entrepreneur, Bhupesh, opted to hone his
business skills through the PGDM course in Business Design from
WeSchool. He remarks, “The course in Business Design made me
change my lenses; it constantly pushed me to search for business
opportunities and at the same time equipped me to handle the
challenges by using conceptual and creative thinking ability and
doing something innovative by adopting a multidisciplinary
approach.”
“While increasing our production capability and establishing a
proper marketing channel remain our biggest challenges, we’ve
successfully completed two pilot projects, one in Thane and another
in Lonavala. We are now in the process of installing approximately
100 windmills in Jaisalmer District of Rajasthan,” informs,
Welingkarite Bhupesh. Currently, Breson is also involved in the
development of prototypes and products for other companies like
Bharat Bijlee, Voltas, Samsung, etc.
