From the first time entering her classroom, the author knew their critic teacher Mrs. Arlyn F. Cabutaje was organized and effective based on how she managed her room and students. Even before seeing her discipline techniques, the author sensed Mrs. Cabutaje fostered discipline and good character. Mrs. Cabutaje often reminded the author that patience, dedication, and determination were needed to become an efficient teacher, and the author was proud of how Mrs. Cabutaje handled different student abilities and attitudes. The author hopes to emulate Mrs. Cabutaje's authority while maintaining a democratic classroom climate.
