3. BBFC (THE BRITISH BROAD
OF FILM CLASSIFICATION)
• Responsible for classifying and censoring films that are
shown at cinemas and video works. There range from
ratings at 12a to 18. They look for aspects such as sex,
nudity, violence, discrimination and more to give their
ratings.
• Django Unchained is an 18 rated movie that contains
sex, violence, bad language, and even drinking,
smoking and drugs. There are no role models and very
little positive messages in this movie.
4. PEGI (PAN EUROPEAN
GAME INFORMATION)
• Are responsible for putting age ratings on games and
trailers to stop anyone underage from buying
something violent or watching something
inappropriate. They also list what the games contain.
• An example of a game that uses this is Gears of War 4
which uses violence and bad language. Another game
is fifa 17 a football game with no bad language in the
game or violence or anything inappropriate. The same
can’t be said for the people you play against online.
