To 20:00 pm. </li></ul><ul><li>Thank you! </li></ul><ul><li>We can take the bus tomorrow at ten o´clock and then we can visit Kilkenny. </li></ul><ul><li>It´s a great idea! </li></ul><ul><li>OK.   9. 9. They see a badger, a squirrel, an owl, and a frog on their way.
  10. 10. They pass by stream and a beautiful waterfall.
  11. 11. O´Connor shows them some monuments. <ul><li>What´s that? </li></ul><ul><li>It´s a cathedral. It´s the largest and most imposing building on Glendalough.That tower over there is called “round tower”, which was built with defensive purposes . </li></ul>
  12. 12. They move towards Upper Lake and pass by Reefert Church, a small cemetery.

They are surprised <ul><li>There are a lot of shamrocks on the field. </li></ul><ul><li>Do you know the story about the shamrocks? </li></ul><ul><li>No ! </li></ul><ul><li>The Irish have considered shamrocks as good luck symbols. It has become the national symbol of Irland, because of the legend that St. Patrick used it to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity, the existence of the three in one. </li></ul>

  15. 15. O’Connor talks about Kilkenny . <ul><li>Kilkenny is a beautiful medieval city and in August there is a beautiful Art Festival. </li></ul>
  16. 16. You can visit the castle and the black abbey, this church is one of the few medieval churches and belongs to a Franciscan friar.
  17. 17. They visited Kilkenny and then they went to Cork airport to fly to Galicia.
