Our film would most likely have a certificate age rating
of 15.
Our target audience is in the age range 15 to 26 meaning
that this certificate would suit the film. However in our
opening there was no mention of the “15” certificate or
the contents of the film such as...
• strong violence
• frequent strong language (eg 'f***').
• portrayals of sexual activity
• strong verbal references to sex
• sexual nudity
• brief scenes of sexual violence or verbal references to
sexual violence
• discriminatory language or behaviour
• drug taking
Although none of the conventions (including gory) are
portrayed in our opening sequence, they are most likely to
come up during the rest of the film.
