Our target audience for the film is ages 15-26, including both male and female teenagers, young adults, and older viewers who enjoy thriller films with horror elements. The film features characters ages 15-26, making this age group a suitable target. Research on a similar recently released film called Lost River showed it appealed to a 46% male and 54% female audience ages 15-26. Two potential audience members, 17-year-old Holly Hayman and 18-year-old Freddie Monk, are described as enjoying thrillers and having hobbies and media preferences that indicate they would enjoy the film.
2. Target Audience
Our target audience is 15+ of both boys, girls
and men, women. Extending its variety from
teenagers, to young adults and anyone above
the age of 15 who enjoys watching thriller films
with a touch of horror. Since our film is based
on the characters between the ages of 15-26,
we thought it was a very suitable target
audience for our film.

released called Lost River is rated a
15 and has a split gender audience
46 % male and 54% female and we
will be looking for a similar split of
the audience and ages.
3. Pen-Portrait of Holly Hayman
This is Holly Hayman. She is 17 and would be
a perfect audience member for our film.
Holly is extremely sporty and plays allot of
hockey and for the county teams. After a full
day of school and sport Holly likes to come
home for some relaxation and likes to sit
down and watch a film. She tends to watch
horror films however she really enjoys
thrillers. She enjoyed all of the James Bond
movies and loved the movie ‘Pulp Fiction’.
So I think she would really enjoy it. Her
hobbies are obviously sport, she likes to
shop at Topshop, Zara and Misguided. Holly
enjoys going out for a meal or a coffee and
tends to go to Starbucks or Pizza Express. In
her college she is taking science, sport,
media and business. Later in life she would
like to do forensic sciences.
4. Pen-Portrait of Freddie Monk
This is Freddie Monk who is an ideal audience
member to the film ‘Lost in London’. Freddie
enjoys going out with his friends, playing pool,
swimming and listening to a variety of music. He
is 18 and at the moment has a job of a Top Man
Customer Service, the music he likes to listen to
which is Indie, and some of his favorite bands
are The Kooks, Cage the Elephant, and The
Decemberists. He likes to swim and hopefully
will get a lifeguard job soon however he also
likes to play and watch football and is a season
ticket holder at Stanford Bridge (Chelsea). He
likes to eat at Nando’s and MacDonald's as on a
special occasion Pizza Express. He is very into his
video games including; Fifa, Call of Duty and GTA
5. After a long day at work he likes to come
back home and watch NCIS and House of Cards,
and Suits, the movies he likes to watch are the
Batman Series, Orphan, and also a few comedy's
including Guards of the Galaxy.
