8. On heating saline water it’s forms
vapours and go into water
condenser and get cooled to get
pure water. Since salt is non-volatile,
it does not form vapours
on heating so it remains in the
flask.

9. This process of heating a liquid to form
vapour, and then cooling, the vapour
get back the liquid is called
distillation and water this obtained is
called distilled water.
