Mr. Himadri Banerji graduated from the pres gious Indian Ins tute of Technology Kharagpur and did my

In his professional career in Oil and Gas, Power, and Steel spanning over 40 years he has worked in various
corporate groups in India and abroad like Tata, Reliance Industries, Reliance Energy, Rolls Royce Power, GIPCL,
Torrent Power etc. in different capaci es including as CEO and Director. From 2014-2018 have been an
Interna onal Consultant with Ernst and Young involved in building capabili es amongst managers in
Bangladesh.
From 2009 he is also heading his own bou que management consultancy firm. As a management consul ng

His Digital journey ini ally started from the day he joined a career in Energy and Process Industry where online
data measurement is used extensively for opera ons maintenance and construc on. However, it is in 1984
when he really came across the science of System Dynamics in his PhD studies at IIT Kharagpur. Had his first
brush with digital simula on models using computers and programs for using data analysis genera ng insights
linking social problems with policy predic ng behavior of societal and business systems. That was AI in its
infancy.
He was involved as a senior management professional for the first me in Digital transforma on in the Energy
Industries from 2000 onwards as we at Torrent Power were looking a performance improvements cost
reduc on etc. His first digital transforma on project was in retrofi ng Digital Control Systems, SCADA, Online
Process Op miza on using Sensor Accuracy Es ma on using Sta s cal Methods, Online Performance
Management Systems, Automa c Meter Reading and The Analysis in Energy Marke ng and Distribu on
Systems using Pa ern Recogni on Techniques, From 2003 onwards also became more involved in Enterprise
wise Digital Transforma on Ini a ves like SAP/ERP/CIS/DMS etc. His first experience in Neural Networks &
Training, the associated Math came by while developing Neural Models for Demand Forecas ng for a
