The document reports on building different network topologies (Mesh, Bus, Star, Ring, and Hybrid) using Cisco Packet Tracer. It describes implementing each topology by connecting 4 PCs to switches and a hub. For each topology, the document explains the implementation, provides example diagrams, and discusses advantages and disadvantages. It concludes that different topologies are suited for different situations and that a hybrid topology allows customizing the network design.

2. Name of The Experiment: Creating Topology (Bus, Star, Mesh Ring, Hybrid) Using
Cisco Packet Tracer.
Tools:
4 Pc
4 Switch (Bus, Star, Mesh Ring, Hybrid)
Hub (Star)
Copper Cross-Over Cable
Copper Straight-Through Cable
Cisco Packet Tracer Software
Topology:
Mesh:
4. Hybrid:
Implementation:
Mesh:
I Took Four Pcs Configured With Separate IP Address. Then They Were Connected With Four
Switches. Every Switch Acted As A Station. They Made Dedicated Connection Between Them.
There I Used Copper Straight-Through Link For Connection All Switches. After Completing
The Connection, I Was Passing A Message And It Was Successfully Passed.
5. Bus:
I Took Four Pcs Configured With Separate IP Address. Then They Were Connected With Four
Switches. Every Switch Acted As A Station. They Made A Multipoint Connection Between
Them. There I Used Copper Straight-Through Link For Connection All Switches. After
Completing The Connection, I Was Passing A Message And It Was Successfully Passed.
Star:
I Took Four Pcs Configured With Separate IP Address. Then They Were Connected With A
Hub. Hub Acts As A Central Controller. They Made A Dedicated Connection Between Them.
After Completing The Connection, I Was Passing A Message And It Was Successfully Passed.
Ring:
I Took Four Pcs Configured With Separate IP Address. Then They Were Connected With Four
Switches. Every Switch Acted As A Station. They Made A Point-To-Point Connection Between
Them. But There They Transferred Data Through A Direction. There I Used Copper Straight-
Through Link For Connection All Switches. After Completing The Connection, I Was Passing A
Message And It Was Successfully Passed.
Hybrid:
A star and bus topology is used to make a hybrid topology. In the figure you can see the star
topology is connected by a hub and the bus topology is connected by switches and then i connect
the hub (of star topology) with the switch of (bus topology) to create a hybrid topology.

Conclusion:
Mesh:
In this topology we can privately transfer data between two devices. This topology is much safe
than other topology.
Bus:
The advantages of the Bus topology we can reduces our cost less than Mesh. Because here we
use only one wire as a main wire. So we reduce the link cost.
Star:
In a word, Star topology is more helpful to Bus. If any device is destroyed there is no effect goes
to other device. Because it is centrally controlled. If I want to control other devices we can
control it from Hu
Ring:
7. The using of Star topology we can make sure that if one link is hampered then the effect will go
to neighbor device but far device can easily transfer data. Here it is more helpful to Bus.
Hybrid:
Hybrid topology is very interesting thing. We can make our own topology according to our
situation. Here we have no any condition.
