 Ask Open questions - for example, what would be the implication for
your business if this issue was resolved at a faster pace?
Ask one question – this seems obvious but it is easy to fall into the
trap of asking multiple questions in one.
Ask interconnected questions - have a conversation with your
customer

Collaboration is key – in class, outside and
online
In class build on each other’s ideas – are you someone’s customer?
Share your view
Outside – Share contacts, connection and customers – Do a couple
of groups have the same customer base ? Why not share?
Online – make a list with a link to everyone’s blogs – follow and
interact with each other.

Plan less and Listen More.  Ask Open questions - for example, what would be the implication for your business if this issue was resolved at a faster pace? Ask one question – this seems obvious but it is easy to fall into the trap of asking multiple questions in one. Ask interconnected questions - have a conversation with your customer
  • 4. Everything I wish I knew when I was in your shoes. Collaboration is key – in class, outside and online In class build on each other’s ideas – are you someone’s customer? Share your view Outside – Share contacts, connection and customers – Do a couple of groups have the same customer base ? Why not share? Online – make a list with a link to everyone’s blogs – follow and interact with each other.

Make the most of this Networking Opportunity LinkedIn – Perfect opportunity to connect with potential employers in your industry Mentor – Ask a potential employer to provide their expert opinion and become a mentor Events – attend meetup events, volunteer at web summit, invite a guest speaker.

  • 9. Is this a ‘must solve now’ problem or a ‘nice to have’ solution?
  • 10. Do you think this is a good idea? Would you buy a product that solved this problem? How much would you pay for this? How do you currently deal with this problem Talk me through the last time you had this problem How much money does this problem cost you
