6. Prime Cost
It is the combination of a manufactured product's
costs of direct materials and direct labor.
It consists of costs of direct material, direct labour,
and direct expenses.
It is also known as basic, first or flat cost.

It comprises prime cost and, in addition,

include costs of indirect material,
