Exercise 5: Rebooting your computer
Read the paragraph to your tutor. Fill in the blanks with the correct word to complete the
paragraph.
If your computer stops , here are some tips. First, for a few minutes. This is to
make sure that your computer is really not responding. It’s possible that it just slowed down. You can
also try closing some . Too many open programs can slow down a computer. If it still doesn’t
work, you can the power button for a few seconds. This will your computer.

Exercise 6: Correct my spelling
Read the story to your tutor, then choose the correct spelling for the underlined words.
Yestarday (yesterday, yesterrday), I tried to video chat with my frend (freind, friend). I could see
her, but the scren (screnn, screen) went black from time to time. I also couldn’t hear her voice.
We asked help from tech support. They told us that the Internet conecction (connection,
conection) might be too slow. This is the rason (reason, raeson) why the video and audio have problems.
