ORGANIZATION (musician, coffee house, student club,
interesting storyteller, etc.)

REPORT ON A CULTURAL TREND (tattoo removal,
vaping, trap music, immigration reform, #metoo, etc.)

editing, posting, and presenting
a multimedia journalism project
with original:
TEXT
AUDIO (interview + narration)

Whether you do an AUDIO or a VIDEO project,
each will have 3 main components:
•AUDIO: Narration, Soundbites, & Music-Bed
•VIDEO: Narration, Soundbites, & B-Roll
•I am looking for AUDIO and/or VIDEO projects
that follow the same general format at the 2
exercises we’ve done:
• TRUMP on NORTH KOREA (audio)
• ESCAPED PRISONERS (video)
5. SEMESTER MULTIMEDIA PROJECT
•DUE BY CLASSTIME ON MONDAY, 12/16
•YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO TAKE A FEW
MINUTES EACH AND DISCUSS/PRESENT YOUR
BLOG POST TO THE CLASS
•NO LATE WORK ACCEPTED FOR FULL CREDIT
•THIS SEMESTER PROJECT = FINAL EXAM
•FINAL EXAM = 30% OF YOUR FINAL GRADE
