My inspirations for my music magazine

2.  There are lots of
different artists in
the genre of
Electronic Dance
Music with lots of
different styles.
However I have a
particular favourite
that I based my EDM
character from.

3.  Deadmau5 is an EDM
artist that does all of his
performances wearing a
helmet representing a
Dead Mouse.
 This is where I got some
of my inspiration for the
artist on the front cover
and double page spread
of my production work.

4.  My artists came from
the idea of Deadmau5.
They are similar as my
artist too wears a horse
head every time they
do a performance.
 This shows how I am
keeping some of the
styles of the music
genre and
incorporating them
into my magazine.

5.  I originally wanted to take
pictures that use the style of
modern photography so I
included the modern side of the
genre of music.
 However, looking at other music
magazines of the same style, I
had to drift away from my
starting ideas as they didn’t have
the same conventions of the
magazines.
 I still kept most of my ideas from
the original drafts but I just had
to change the colours and
placement of text and pictures.
