  16. 16. • Total number of Investees for each investment scale has been considerably increased YoY in 2015. With 57 more cases have been made in $1M-$9.9M and 29 more in 0-$0.9M, the investment opportunities below $10M for startups in their initial stages have been expanded. Unlike 2014, no investment over $100M has been made in 2015. • Except the range larger than $100M, investment amounts over the whole ranges have been skyrocketed. The report summarizes the monthly investment trends, investments by scale, investments by business type/period, investor companies, and annual M&A status in 2015 based on publicly released 233 cases of startups’ investments, 40 cases of M&A information. This report is produced utilizing basic information such as startups(investees), investors, investment scales, and time of investment provided from the data disclosed by investees and investors and Platum analyzes the monthly trends as well as investment distributions and draws conclusion by totaling in a general way and by calculating percentages.
