Ford, the Ford Foundation judges around

approximately 1,400 grants are issued every

The recipient of a Doctor of Philosophy in
Economics from the University of Michigan,
economist Philip H. Brown has held positions
at the International Food Policy Research
Institute and Colby College. Active in
numerous research endeavors, Dr. Brown
acquired a grant from the Ford Foundation to
study China’s New Cooperative Medical
System.
