The EJAF aims to create an AIDS free future for everybody in this world. The foundation provides
funding to programs that help to:
Alleviate the physical, emotional or financial pain of people living with, affected by or at risk
of HIV/AIDS
Continue the fight against HIV/AIDS so that no one is left behind
EJAF is accepting applications from registered not-for-profit and charitable organizations
in India for its Pioneer Grants. This Grant will support a specific initiative focusing on an individual
key population at higher risk, such as men who have sex with men (MSM), sex workers and
injecting drug users -within an individual country.

They must have a focus on service delivery
They must be catalytic in nature
They must be scalable in design
They must be innovative
They must operate within one of our program countries
They must be able to track changes such as access to condoms, HIV testing and treatment of
program beneficiaries
Countries where the Pioneer Grant is applicable:
Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, India, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Myanmar (Burma), Nigeria,
Russian Federation, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Zambia
and Zimbabwe.

The Global Fund for Women is accepting Letters of Interest (LOI) from women or women-led
organizations for the grant that will advance human rights of women and girls to strengthen
women-led groups based outside the United States.
Focus Areas
Zero Violence– The goal is to end gender based violence. The organization fund and advocate
for women’s and girls’ participation, empowerment, and peace building while challenging
laws, policies, cultures and behavior that perpetuates discrimination, violence and abuse.
Economic and Political Empowerment– The goal is to make all women economically secure
and independent and support by policies ensuring women’s and girls’ equal rights to
resources, livelihoods and political voice.

Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights – The goal is to make women and girls free to make
their own reproductive and sexual choices. Sexual and reproductive health services and
information are readily available.
Grant provided by the Global Fund for Women ranges from $5000 to $30,000 per year for
operating and project expenses.
Eligibility Information
Organization should be based in a country outside the United States.
Primary focus should be advancing women’s equality and human rights.
A group of women working together are eligible. Requests from individuals are not accepted.
Applying organization must be governed, directed, and led by women. Women must fill all or
most of the leadership roles.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) foundation is currently accepting applications from the
eligible individuals of India for the programme intended to protect Environment, Cultural heritage
and Wildlife.
Objectives
To contribute to the conservation of the environment and cultural heritage of Asia Pacific,
and to encourage travel and tourism industry stakeholders to reinvest in Asia Pacific
destinations

To help people in Asia Pacific countries acquire the tools they need to become better
stewards of their environment and cultural heritage, and to foster economic solutions to
conservation problems
To give PATA and the travel and tourism industry a stronger voice in the international debate
on environmental and cultural heritage conservation
To support educational initiatives that target travel and tourism stakeholders, including
residents of destination communities, visitors and industry employees, to make all parties
aware of their impact on cultural heritage and the environment.
Eligible Projects
Projects that are considered deserving of a PATA Foundation grant are those that seek to
protect, conserve and/or educate. They usually have one or more of the following objectives:
Protect the natural environment, including wildlife
Conserve cultural heritage, including arts and crafts, heritage sites and historic buildings
Educate people on the importance of environmental and cultural heritage.

Grant Size
Each grant is usually for amount up to $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be from the Asia Pacific Region. Indians can apply.
PATA Foundation does not make grants for planning, organisation, management, or conduct of
conferences, workshops or seminars except possibly, for the production of a report.
Applicant’s Project must be based upon above mentioned objectives to protect, conserve and/or
educate.

Red Umbrella Fund

Red Umbrella Fund, a unique global fund guided by and for sex workers is now accepting
applications. The Red Umbrella fund believes that change will only be achieved through strong,
collaborative movements of sex workers advocating for their rights.
The Fund’s strategic priorities focus on promoting sex workers’ human rights, building sex workers’
capacities and strengthening and sustaining the sex workers’ rights movement.
The Red Umbrella Fund provides funding to sex worker-led organisations and networks that are
based in any country in the world, registered or unregistered and led by women, men and/or
transgender
Eligibility Criteria
If you wish to apply, your group, organisation or network must fulfil each of the following three
criteria:

Be committed to connect to and strengthen the sex workers’ rights movement
Agree with all the principles of the Red Umbrella Fund.
The Red Umbrella Fund provides flexible core funding to support the general coordination,
functioning and strengthening of a group, organization or network and its members. Core funding
can be used to cover expenses such as registration costs, rent, salaries, advocacy, (peer led)
capacity building, membership meetings, networking activities, etc.
