Get The Prices Right: Placement Fee
Ang maximum allowable placement fee na kailangan bayaran sa
recruitment agency ay katumbas ng iyong magiging sweldo sa
isang buwan. Bayarang lamang ang placement fee pagkatapos
mong pirmahan ang iyong Employment Contract.
Hingin ang Official Receipt (OR) pagkabayad ng placement fee.
Nakasaad dapat sa OR ang eksaktong amount na iyong binayaran.
Tandaan: Ang mga seafarers at domestic workers ay walang
binabayarang placement fee.
Wala ding placement fee na kailangan bayaran kung ikaw ay
magtatrabaho sa mga sumusunod na bansa:
United States of America (H2B), United Kingdom, Ireland,
Norway, the Netherlands, at mga mga sumusunod na
probinsya sa Canada: Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta at
British Columbia.

Get The Prices Right: Compulsory Insurance Coverage
Accidental Death ($15,000.00)
Ang coverage na ito ay tumutukoy sa pagkamatay ng isang
overseas worker na papunta o pauwi mula sa work area, sa
trabaho o sa labas nito ngunit nasa jurisdiction ng kanyang
worksite.
Natural Death ($10,000.00)
Ang coverage na ito ay tumutukoy sa pagkamatay ng overseas
worker ng dahil sa natural causes tulad ng heart attack, heat
stroke at iba pa.
Ang bawat overseas worker na ide-deploy ng isang licensed recruitment agency ay
dapat covered ng compulsory insurance.
Ito ay ipinagkakaloob ng recruitment agency o ng employer ng libre at hindi dapat
binabayaran ng overseas worker.

Permanent or Total Disablement ($7,500.00)
Sakop ng coverage na ito ang mga benepisyo na
matatanggap ng overseas worker sakaling siya ay
mawalan ng binti, paa, ng paningin at iba pa.
Repatriation Cost
Ang coverage na ito ay nagsisiguro na ang overseas
worker ay makakabalik sa Pilipinas sakaling may
mangyaring sakuna o man-made disasters sa bansang
kanyang pinagtatrabahuhan.

Subsistence Allowance ($100.00/buwan sa loob ng 6 na
buwan)
Ito ang sustentong binibigay sa worker habang siya ay nasa
ibang bansa at humaharap sa paglilitis ng kasong kanyang
isinampa.
Compassionate Visit
Kung ma-oospital ang overseas worker ng pitong (7) araw o
higit pa, sasagutin ng insurance company ang gastos sa
pamasahe mula sa Pilipinas papunta sa pinakamalapit na
airport sa ospital, nang isang kapamilya nito o kung sino
mang taong hiningi ng worker na bibisita sa kanya.

Medical Evaluation
Sasagutin ng insurance company ang paglipat ng overseas
worker sa isang mas bago at mas may kakayahang medical
facility kung sakaling sabihin ng doktor na hindi sapat ang
kagamitan sa ospital kung saan kasalukuyang naka-admit ang
worker.
Medical Repatriation
Sasagutin ng insurance company ang pagpapa-uwi sa worker
sa Pilipinas sa ilalim ng medical supervision, kung ito ay
kinakailangan at kung ito ay ini-rekomenda ng physician ng
insurance company.
Ang overseas worker ay iuuwi lamang kung siya ay may
medical clearance para makabiyahe na sakay sa komersyal
na airline.
