This document provides information for parents on the Grade 2 Mandarin Chinese curriculum at the school. It includes details on the 5 units covered, resources and methods used, how student learning is assessed through formative and summative assessments, and ways for parents to support their child's learning such as checking homework and encouraging daily reading. Parents are asked to fill out a portfolio survey and informed about an upcoming summer Chinese course and reading program starting in October.

students’ reading habit and interests.
Please remind your child to read.
Please sign the reading log and remind he/
