t for continued healing for Dale Bronsink, Wayne
Fieldhouse and Larry Rees;
t for Diane Cartwright who will be having surgery in
Muskegon on 1/31 to try to correct a blockage in her
pancreas. Pray that the doctor will be able to fix the
problem and that she will not need to be referred to
another doctor for a more invasive procedure;
t for healing of John Feyereisen’s incision from his
July surgery that has not yet totally healed. He returns
to his doctor on Feb. 9 and if it has not healed, they
are looking at open brain reconstructive surgery;
t for continued tolerance for Tobin Crook as he
continues with medical treatments;
t for health for Jenn Boultbee who is due for her first
baby early February and for a safe delivery and very
healthy baby boy;
t for Sabrina Preikszas’ mom as she receives
radiation treatments;
t for our homebound including Ray Reidsma,
Mary Carmichael, Kay Everett & Ida Mae Ter Beek;
t for our Prayer Families of the week: Don & Bev

Grand Rapids Griffins Hockey Game this Friday, January 27. We will be leaving the
church at 5:00 p.m. and will return around 10:20 pm. The cost is $20 per person.

SERVICE PROJECT-BABY YARN NEEDED
3 G’s is collecting donations of baby yarn to make baby hats for
Lakeshore Pregnancy Center in February. Please give the yarn
directly to Kari DeBoer or see her if you have questions.

A big thank you to the fourteen dear sisters in Christ for helping cut and
sew the little dolls for orphans last Saturday. We made great progress
towards our goal of 75 finished dolls. The dolls will be given to Fountain
of Christ Orphanage in Fountaine, Haiti. You can learn more about the
orphanage at fountainofchrist.org. They are so exited and looking forward to receiving
these dolls!
A special thank you to Bev Brookhouse for her help in leading the workshop and for
tirelessly sewing so many dolls at home. The orphanage would also love to have
some little dresses to go with the dolls. If anyone in the congregation would be
willing to sew simple little dresses at home, please call me at 396-1975. Pattern
and materials will be supplied. With gratitude and love in Christ, Kathy Trantham
I just wanted to thank Pastor Gary and the Parkside family for the love, support and
especially the prayers during my dad’s hospital stay and passing. You all have been
so supportive to me and my family, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

GALS & PALS KICKOFF THIS SATURDAY “Gals & Pals” connects Middle School and
High School young ladies with adult women in the church as secret prayer pals or mentors.
There will be a kickoff of this new ministry this Saturday, January 28, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at
the church for the mentors and the students they are paired up with. Plan to come and
enjoy food, games and fellowship as we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us in
2017! Please sign up at the Women’s Ministry Counter today.
PARKSIDE BOOK COMMUNITY Join us the last Wednesday of every month for Parkside
Book Community. This month we are reading “Is This The End?” by Dr. David Jeremiah.
Pick up a copy at Family Christian Store for $24.99. Our first discussion group will be this
Wednesday, January 25, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. here at the church in the Board Room.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY BEGINS FEBRUARY 2 Our next ladies Bible Study will be a 10-
week study of “Ruth & Esther” from the NavPress Life Changes series. The study will be
meeting every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. starting 2/2 through 4/27 - except the
LIFT event nights of 2/16, 3/16, and 4/20. The book cost is $8 and payment can be given to
Sue Spykerman or Cheryl Tooke. (Make checks payable to Sue.) Please sign up at the

3 G’S Ladies, join 3 G’s on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the church as we will be making
