Thursday for a cyst on his pancreas;
t for a total recovery for Pam DeBoer and Patty
Ramos’ cousin, Wanda, who had a double lung
transplant on 12/3 which went well but then had a
stroke;
t for all who are alone for Christmas and that the
love of God will surround them;
t for all in our church family who have had recent
surgeries and illnesses;
t for the homebound in our church including:
Al Anderson, Mary Carmichael & Kay Everett;
t for our Prayer Families of the Week: Elizabeth

Senior High Christmas Party tonight — Be at the church at 5:40 pm as
we will begin our night with caroling at Appledorn then will return to
the church for our Christmas party! Bring a $5-$10 gift for exchange.
PARENTS: Please sign up at the youth counter to provide part of the meal.
There will be no Jr. High Youth Group this Wednesday or the next.
New Year’s Eve Party & Worship Bash for All Youth: Wednesday, December 31
It’s a night of worship, food, games and much more from 7:00 pm to 12:15 am.

before and after church in the Youth Room featuring
expresso, cappuccino, latte, mocha, fruit smoothies,
juices, and other snacks for purchase.

If you have assigned offering envelopes, please pick up
your 2015 envelopes from the table in front of the Welcome
Center. If you do not have them but would like them, please
sign up for envelopes on the same table and they will be
available for pick up next Sunday.

2. CHRISTMAS CAROLING TONIGHT Plan to join your Parkside friends tonight
from 6:00-7:00 p.m. as we carol at The Village of Appledorn, 630 Hastings Avenue
in Holland. Go to the main entrance on Hastings. The door will be locked and you’ll
need to be “buzzed” in. Meet in the dining hall where we will be caroling.
NEXT SUNDAY Plan to attend and invite your friends to church next Sunday as
our guest speaker will be Lee Homoki from Bible Doctrines to Live By.
WOMEN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS STARTING JANUARY 25 There’s an
exciting adult Sunday School class for women starting up on January 25 and you’ll
want to be part of it! “Living Beyond Yourself” is a 12-week journey with Beth Moore
through what the Bible calls the fruit of the spirit. You’ll experience genuine free-
dom—the freedom that comes only through a life filled with the Holy Spirit. This is
a video study and there will be a $10 charge for the workbook. SIGN UP TODAY AT

PARKSIDE MISSION PROJECT
ACTION PACKS FOR VOICE OF THE MARTYRS
Voice of the Martyrs is an organization for persecuted Christians worldwide, providing for
churches, pastors and evangelists and their families in a number of ways. One of those ways is
through “Action Packs” which are sent to believers in areas where the Christians have lost about
everything. Parkside’s Missions Committee has purchased 10 Action Packs for us to fill as a
church family. Items needed are blankets, hats, towels, sheets, jackets, sweaters, socks, t-shirts
and much more. Please stop by the table in the Fellowship Hall manned by Katie Poynter and
Kelly DeFrell and pick up a card with the name of an item needed to fill a pack. Much more
information will be available on the table. Our goal is to have everything collected by 1/4.
Please help out our persecuted brothers & sisters in Christ in Iraq, Pakistan or Sudan.
