BIBLIOGRAPHY
• Param KS Bhatty was commissioned from the prestigious Indian Military
Academy into the Indian Army in 1985 and as a young officer, participated in active
operational and challenging environment of Jammu & Kashmir . The early years also saw him
tenanting several command & staff appointments involving entire HR spectrum as also combat
appointments testing his leadership and team building abilities.
• He was selected to attend the prestigious Defence Services Staff College,
Wellington (TN) based on competitive merit based selection. The one year long course is
deemed to be a 'cut above the rest' and also attended by meritorious armed forces officer's of
various foreign countries. The multi cultural professional interaction with the most advanced
armed forces of the world helps in consolidation of professional edge giving an opportunity to
professionally & socially develop the interactive skills and analytical abilities at national and
international levels. This was also the duration in which he honed his management abilities, and

appointments between 2001 and 2003.
