About 36 years of varied experience in the Indian Amy.
 07 June 1980 commissioned from Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun the premier officer
Academy of Indian Army. Successfully accomplished various Resource Management, Security(Men/
Material/Information), Logistics/Unit Administration related function under constraint of time, space and
resources under hostile and in an extremely inhospitable terrain.
CAREER PATH HIGHLIGHTS
 In Military Academy (January 1979 to June 19800 excelled in sports like Hockey, Football, Basketball
professional subjects and high leadership quality, hence I was nominated one of the Eight as Company
Sargent Major out of 430 Cadet responsible for administrative discipline, motivation, punctuality, building
team spirit of IMPHAL COMPANY (160 CADETS) and performed the assigned responsibility with
perfection and transformed company to be CHAMPION COMPANY of the MILITARY ACADEMY IN THE
YEAR 1980 by winning, all physical, sports profession competition of the Academy including Drill, obstacle
course, Battle Physical Efficient Test, Weapon Training and almost all team sports event.

AS YOUNG OFFICER
 Commissioned in June 1980in elite Infantry Unit 8 SIKH Light Infantry, of Sikh Light Infantry Regiments of
Indian Army.
 Led professional competition & won amongst 20,000 troops, to name a few :-
(a) 81 MM Mor (Divisional Competition) x 3 (3 times).
(b) Medium Machine Gun (Divisional Competition) x2 (2 times) .
(c) Small arms ie, rifle and LMG (Divisional Competition) x 4 (4 times).
(d) Navigational in Desert without compass more than 80 kms (Divisional Competition).
(e) Commando Competition (Divisional Competition) x 2 (2 times).
(f) Cross Country Competition.
(g) Undertook many Long Range Patrol and adventure Patrolling having body of 30 Troops in
rugged and snow clad mountains (4 times).
MID LEVEL SERVICE
 Was Adjutant, Company Commander and second in Command of the unit having more than 1200
bodies, was responsible for their Administration, Training, promotion, documentation, physic al fitness,
Accounts, Welfare, Accommodation including pay and allowance, leave and medical.
 Was responsible for the security and maintenance of personnel, controlled stores, clothing and war
equipment, costing over 5 crores.
 Was responsible number of time for moving Battalion more than 1200 men with war stores, weapons,
ammunition, vehicles worth 10 Crores by train and Road from peace location to Border and vise
versa (J & K twice, Kohima, Arunachal, ASSAM).
 Undertook recruitment drive to enrol student into Army by organising, conducting and executing
recruitment 3 times and enrolled more than 500 men in Gurdaspur & Ludhiana District.
 Conducted medical camp for ex –servicemen in Gurdaspur Dist, Punjab.
 Conducted Adventure Camp for School going children of Army Personnel all ranks above class V for
more than 200 students both boys and girls for 14 days in Mousserie at Dehradun and Jaipur.
As NCC Battalion Commander (Girls and Boys Battalion, Udaipur)
 Was Battalion Commander of Girls and Boys Battalion Udaipur having a strength of more than 2000
girls and 5000 boys of Schools and College from Ajmer, Baswara Udaipur Chittergarh, Khanwara
Mount Abu, Rajsamebarth and Nathedwara.
 Conducted National Integration Camp, Annual Training Camp and Republic Day Camps and
competitions for more than 3000 NCC Cadets boys and girls, and looked after the administration,
boarding, lodging, training, Night Training, Adventure Training, competition for the cadets.
 Was responsible for Establishment, Management, administration, boarding, lodging and discipline,
medical and miscellaneous events for Republic Day Camp at New Delhi Parade Ground for more than
500 NCC Cadets taking part for final selection for Republic Day Parade participation, 1999.
Important Appointments of Senior Administrative Level
 Establishment of Officers and Camp Commandant of DODA Force Headquarters having a force of
more than 300 men.
 Administrative Commandant of Station Headquarters NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA)
having more than 4000, training cadets and 10,000 STAFF MEMBERS. The Tri Services (Air Force Navy
& Army) Academy only in Asia.
 Was responsible to establish New Station Headquarters National Defence Academy,
Khadakwasla, including Staffing infrastructure, formulising rules and regulation, policies including
function of the Headquarters.
 was responsible for administration and accommodation at NDA having more than 6000 houses of
staff and 700 houses of officers including lecturer and professors.
 Was responsible to deny encroachment and theft of Natural Flora and Fauna including Sandal
Wood Jungle existed in NDA having 8000 Acres of Area, by all round defences and Piquettes.
