Ansoff Analysis
Strategic Marketing Planning
The marketing plan directions of Just Click for the next 3 years would be determined based on the
following analysis;
Ansoff Analysis of Just Click business
BCG Matrix showing the growth strategies versus market share
Ansoff Analysis
The Ansoff Analysis is basically a strategic planning tool which helps the senior management and
marketing team to develop strategies for the future. This is also known as the Product or Market
Expansion Grid. It was developed by Russian American H.Igor Ansoff. (Gianos 2013)
The above matrix shows the four strategies one can use to grow and analyze the risks related to it.
Market Penetration Strategy
Using this strategy, the company can further penetrate the existing market ... Show more content on

This strategy however has its own risks because the technology may be copied by others and
imitated.
Diversification involving development of new product in a new market is not advisable for Just
Click at present as it is still in the initial period of growth. So, it is better it consolidates its position
in Kuwait and grow more before taking risky growth strategies.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Matrix
The BCG matrix analysis would help a company in its long term strategic planning and deploy its
resources accordingly. It helps the company to consider the various growth opportunities by making
a review of the existing portfolio of products and decide whether to invest more or discontinue or
develop products. The BCG Matrix is also known as the Growth or Share Matrix. (Zhao & Lu 2006)
The BCG matrix helps to identify the high growth prospects by classifying the firm products as per
the growth rate and market share. It evaluates the strategic position of the company product and its
potential. The classification is divided into 4 quadrants as follows; (Ionescu 2011)

Compare The Rate Law For The Reaction Of Crystal Violet...
In this experiment, the purpose was to determine the rate law for the reaction of crystal violet and
sodium hydroxide. By recording the absorbance in a calorimeter in increments of twenty seconds for
twenty minutes, three graphs were constructed. From the ln(absorbance) vs. time plot, the reaction
was determined to be first order with respect to crystal violet. Based on the data, the rate law for the
reaction is concluded to be "rate= k [crystal violet]" .
Introduction
Crystal violet is a common purple indicator used to observe the rate of a reaction. The color
intensity of the dye slowly fades and the solution becomes colorless as a reaction progresses. The
kinetics of this "fading" reaction can be analyzed by measuring the absorbance or ... Show more

The purpose of the calorimeter is to measure the absorbance by sending wavelengths of light
through the liquid placed inside the cuvette. Once the hardware is correctly setup, Logger Pro is
launched and the "Chemistry with Computers" folder is opened and the "30 Rate Crystal Violet" file
is selected.
Calibrate the Calorimeter Clean a cuvette with deionized water and refill it ¾ full of deionized
water. Place the "blank" cuvette in the calorimeter and select the 565nm wavelength. Press and hold
the CAL button until the red light stops blinking to zero out the calorimeter with the blank. Remove
the blank and discard the water.
Run Reaction Obtain two 10.0 mL graduated cylinders, a clean cuvette, and a small beaker. In one
fill with 10.0 mL of sodium hydroxide and in the other fill with 10.0 mL of crystal violet solution.
Pour both of the 10.0 mL graduated cylinders into the small beaker simultaneously. Manually swirl
the solution for a few seconds. immediately fill the cuvette ¾ full of the solution, discard, then fill ¾
full again and place in the calorimeter, making sure to wipe the cuvette with a lint free tissue
(Barrett and Stephenson). Click the COLLECT button in the Logger Pro software followed by the
KEEP button after five seconds has elapsed. For 20 minutes continue to press the KEEP button in 20
second intervals. After 20 minutes, remove the cuvette and dispose the contents down the sink along
with the remaining solution in the

Air France Case
Air France Case Brief
Executive Summary
Rob Griffin, the senior vice president and U.S. director of search for Media contacts, a media
consulting firm, is faced with the task of optimizing search engine marketing (SEM) for Air France
as the company seeks to compete in the hyper–competitive U.S. market. Even though Griffin is
satisfied with the performance of his company, he wants to make the team to remain the leading
position and provide the results that Air France wanted. At the time of the case, SEM has become an
advertising phenomenon, with North American advertisers spent $ 9.4 billion in the SEM channel,
up to 62% in 2005. In the past, Media contacts h had concentrated on Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo
for the search engine ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is imperative to understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to evaluate the
performance of SEM. The main KPIs we need to consider in this case are: Engine Click Through
Rate (CTR), Transaction Conversion Rate (TCR) and Return on Ad dollar Spent (ROA). The Engine
Click Through Rate indicates the percentage of visitors who actually click the ad and it measures the
effectives of the ad campaign. Transaction Conversion Rate tells how many clicks are converted into
actual transactions. A higher Transaction Conversion Rate indicates higher revenue. ROA indicates
the revenue generated by the investment on the ad. A high ROA means the ad campaign is
successful.
Based on the data provided, I have constructed a Pivot table to examine the KPIs of different
publishers. From the table, we can see that the KPIs vary significantly among the publishers. For
example, Yahoo stands out as the most efficient publisher, with the lowest Cost Per Click and the
highest Revenue Per Booking yielding by far the highest ROA. Overture–US has a very low TCR of
9.49% compared to other publishers with two or three digit TCR. Furthermore, Engine Click
Through Rate and ROA vary in different types of campaigns and Keyword Groups. For example,
"Business Class" in MSN–US has a zero CTR, which means the campaign is unsuccessful. "Air
France Brand" and "Air France Website" in the Keyword Group account for a significant amount of
positive ROA across

How Does A/B Testing Method Work
A/B testing, also known as bucket tests or split testing, tests two versions to find the best option. It is
an easy and accurate testing method available with endless range of subjects. Websites, business
sales' pages and fundraising campaigns are just some examples. The A/B testing method is
applicable for anything where two separate versions can exist. More advanced A/B tests can even
run up to four different variables at the same time.
How does the A/B testing method work?
A/B testing works like any other testing method; you need a control and a variant. An A/B test
separates visitors into two equal groups and each group is provided with one version. Group A, or
the control, is supplied with the unchanged version. Group B, or the variation, views the version
which has something changed. A simple A/B test involves one variation, such as a change in font
color. A more complex A/B test may include two variations, such as different font colors and photos.

Click–through rate applies to whichever URL link gets the most clicks [or responses]. Bounce rate
counts how many visitors "bounce" away from a website after viewing one page; thus the least
bounces, the better. With the self–explanatory sales rate, the version with most sales is the winner.
Not quite understanding?
Take a moment and think of yourself as a car salesperson with two exact cars. Same color, same
price, same perks, and same mileage. These cars are identical except one vehicle is automatic and
the other manual transmission. Most people are going to take the automatic instead of the standard,
even if the manual costs less.
This is what A/B testing does.
A/B testing employs social science to see which option interests the most visitors. The A/B testing
process itself is limitless. Once you have tested options A and B together, you can then take the
winner and test it against another

Social Media Marketing Strategies Are Really Helping Your...
When it comes to social media marketing, it's still pretty new terrain for most businesses. You can
never be sure that one type of social media campaign will work for what products or services. So
where does that leave you, the company? How are you supposed to know what marketing strategies
are actually helping your bottom line? That's where social media metrics come into play. Social
media metrics are measurement tools that help you sift through the thousands of likes, retweets, and
shares you're getting and make sense of it all. They are there to give some context to the massive
amounts of data that you're collecting. In short, they tell you if your marketing works or not. After
all, at the end of the day, what's the point of all of this if it isn't helping your company? The tricky
thing is, there are hundreds of different metrics so now you have to ask yourself which ones are best
for you. Below we'll highlight some of the most useful social media metrics, how they work and
why they're so effective. If you would like to look into others, though, we've got a whole glossary
full of other metrics here. Impressions To put it briefly, impressions are the number of times that
your page is displayed regardless of whether or not people click on it or not. How many people saw
your post or update? That's impressions. By no means are impressions the end–all–be–all of social
metrics. The key thing to take away from this is that you'll want to study a series of

How Effective Is A Bottlenose Dolphin's Echolocation?
Echolocation is widely used by many species which lives in different habitats. The process works
when an organism observes acoustic signals, and attains a sense of the space surrounding from noise
or echoes that the organism had detected. Animals use echolocation for specific reasons to determine
the presence of nearby preys or predators. This way the process of catching or escaping from objects
is more efficient to most species. Many marine and land based species use echolocation as a defense
against their surroundings. Although some researcher finds echolocation more effective underwater
than on land where mainly light is used. Sound can travel through longer complex frequency with
objects than light. Many marine mammals use echolocation ... Show more content on

In "Field assessment of C–POD performance in detecting echolocation click trains of bottlenose
dolphins (tursiops truncates)," demonstrates the performance of bottlenose dolphin's echolocation
detectors in three different areas testing acoustic recording. The echolocation rates presented here
were potentially influenced by variation in both the occurrence of dolphins and their echolocation
activity among sites (Robert, Read 2015). Based on the results, dolphins use the same variation in
all three sites used in the experiment. The shorter the distance from the predator to its prey, higher
frequency is used in echolocation of the specie. The detection range of any passive acoustic
monitoring units is highly dependent on the environment in which it is deployed and the behavior of
the target species being recorded (Robert, Read 2015). Many other environmental factor such as
salinity, temperature, and water depth affects the sound of echolocation for the dolphins. In
bottlenose dolphins, the brain is the one that receives the sound waves in the form of nerve
impulses, which then applies the signal of sound and allows the dolphin to understand what the

bottom part of the screen will allow you to start previewing some of the results that are related to
earnings. I'll go back to my search at the top and input India because I'd like to filter for earnings
news within India. And when I do that, again, as you can see, you'll see India appear at the very top.
As you continue to add criteria, the results will continue to update at the bottom under preview
results. There are other ways on the terminal to find what you need specifically with news. There are
pre–set news monitors on the terminal that you can use to get stories as they are released within a
specific topic. For example, going along with our example of earnings, if you're interested in news
related to earnings in general, you can run NI ERN. And what that will do is select or pull up a
scrolling news monitor of news only on earnings. These pre–set news monitors, as you saw, start
with NI and are streaming in real time. The news articles will appear and will flash as the stories
come in. As you can see, from here you can further refine the search to meet your specific
investment analysis criteria. You can either click on 97 actions at the very top and edit the search, or
you can simply add additional keywords in the narrow search box. Bloomberg also provides direct

Persuasive Analysis Tp
Paid search is a great way to get visitors to your website NOW. No need to wait months for the
search engines to pick up your website and blog posts – just pay, and your listing shows up! When
you use Google AdWords, LinkedIn ads or Facebook ads, you're spending money on each click you
generate, so you need to know how much you're spending to acquire each visitor and each lead, as
well as how much of a profit you're making on that adspend.
You can get some very specific tips on improving the ROI of your paid marketing from our blog.
1. Click–Through Rate (CTR)

Is the page relevant to the text of the ad and the original search phrase? Is the value proposition
clear? Is the offer compelling?
4. Cost–Per–Acquisition (CPA)
A measurement of how much you are spending on PPC advertising for each conversion. Calculate
your overall paid search CPA by dividing total ad spend by your total PPC conversion rate. Or,
calculate it on a per campaign basis by dividing your average cost–per–click by your conversion rate
for a specific ad/keyword combination.
What to Look For
Obviously lower is better here, but, depending on what a conversion is worth to you, this could be a
substantial number.
How to Lower Your Cost–Per–Acquisition
Tracking your CPA can help you optimize your PPC bidding strategy. For example, Google
AdWords now offers a conversion–based bidding option that lets advertisers set their maximum ad
bids according to a target CPA. If you know your historical CPAs from previously successful PPC
campaigns, you can use that figure to help bid more efficiently on new keywords.
5. Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
ROAS measures the return on your PPC advertising investment, calculated by dividing your total ad
spend by the total revenue generated from those PPC conversions.
What to Look For
Look for any positive number here. Clicks and visits are all very nice, but unless you have an

Visibility of system status VistA CPRS rates a 6 for visibility of system status. Visibility of system
status refers to the ability to see what the system is doing. For example, processing a request. In the
record of ARMAND, VIVIAN, when the user clicks on an active problem, the cursor turns into an
hourglass letting the user know that the system is thinking and retrieving information. However,
short of this feature, VistA CPRS does not have numerous elements that allow for visibility of

This system lacks several features to prevent errors. When the user creates a new progress note,
there is no indication of misspelled words or typing errors. On the cover sheet tab, the recent lab
results section does not automatically format for the user to see the full date of the testing. The user
is permitted to select an out of range medication dose without a flag or error message. When the
users is typing in a new problem, there are options that populate for the user to choose from,
however no option is automatically selected for the user. This feature allows the users to fill in
control of this feature. However, there are some areas that use an AutoFill option, for example when
you are selecting a new patient. This can lead the user to feel that he or she is the responder to action
rather than the controller, however the AutoFill feature does not appear often. Under the medications
tab, the system offers the user with a wide variety of editable selections when entering medications.
This would allow the user to feel in control and not limited in their documentation. Recognition
rather than recall VistA CPRS rates an 8 for recognition rather than recall. The systems cover page
allows the user to see critical, key information about the patient at the first glance. However, there
are no 'ready to use' templates for progress notes. Having templates with checklist for items like the

Adense Program Essay
The adsense program is one of the most lucrative money making programs online. It is also perhaps
the simplest one to get involved in and make money quickly. This is especially true if you already
own a site that gets a fair bit of traffic. However, while it is simple to get involved with it still
requires a bit of understanding on your part to maximize your revenue from it.
If you have been trying to make money with adsense then you will have undoubtedly come across
many different viewpoints on how to make it work. There are many who believe that chasing high
paying adsense clicks is the answer. In my experience, high paying clicks are extremely difficult if
not almost impossible to come across. This is mainly due to the fact that there ... Show more content

Blending your ads in with your site content is most likely the best way to improve your adsense
click through rate.
Make sure that the link color of your adsense ads is the same as the general link color of your site.
The text size of your ads should match as closely as possible the text size of your content. Also
make sure the color of the adsense description text is the same as the color of your content text. An
important point to note is that your pages should be targeted towards a specific topic.
This is important because it will help to draw the most relevant ads. As long as your topic has a fair
number of advertisers then you should have no trouble getting relevant ads. Remember that if your
ads are irrelevant then they will not get clicked on so check to make sure that you are getting
relevant ads showing up on your site.
Removing borders from your ads can also have a positive effect since your ads blend in better. Also
use the maximum number of ads you are allowed to as long as you have enough content on the page.
Remember to never put adsense on pages that have little or no content. When using the link units,
make them blend in with the navigational structure of your site. So if you have horizontal navigation
then use the horizontal link units, maybe slightly below or above your original navigation.
A good tip to keep in mind is that most ads that are banner sized tend to get ignored and thus do not
perform very well. So try to avoid the banner sized

Understanding Google Analytics Essay
Understanding Google Analytics
Written by Janet Gershen–Siegel
When you build a website for your small business (or you have one built for you), it makes a lot of
sense to add Google Analytics. This is a small tracking code which either you can add yourself or
have a developer do so. In WordPress, there are several plugins which will add the code correctly;
all you have to do is paste it in.
What's all this data for?
The real use of data is to see which content on your website is working for your customers, and what
isn't. Furthermore, this sort of data can also alert you to webpages which aren't working at all.
Popular content should be nurtured and you should try to repeat it (without simply cloning it, of
course). Unpopular content ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The basic report shows a percentage of new and returning visitors, along with sessions, users, page
views, session duration, and what's called the bounce rate.
The bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who came to your website and only looked at one page.
As analytics guru Avinash Kaushik calls it, "I came, I saw, I puked." But the truth is; a bounced
visitor isn't necessarily someone who hates your content or who landed by accident and then bailed.
It can also be users who love your content but only had the time to view one page, or who got what
they wanted from one page, and then they were done. Don't expect this figure to really ever hit zero,
but try to get it to decrease.
The other metrics are fairly self–explanatory. You will generally see more sessions than users
because a user can have more than one session (visit) to your website.
Acquisition
The next major report section shows where your website's visitors all came from. These can be
referrals (that is, your site URL on someone else's website), organic search (your site came up in
search results), social (your URL was shared on social media and clicked), or 'other'. You can click
on any of these and get more of a breakdown. If you break down social, you'll see referrals from not
just Facebook and Twitter, but also reddit, Stack Exchange, Disqus (that's a comments management
plugin), and others.
Behavior

Emphysema Breathing
In a person with emphysema, there is a significant loss of intrinsic elastic recoil in the lung tissue.
This loss of elastic recoil occurs as the disease destroys the walls of the alveoli. Airway resistance is
also increased as the lung tissue in general becomes more flimsy and exerts less mechanical
tethering on the surrounding airways. Thus the lung becomes overly compliant and expands easily.
Conversely, a great effort is required to exhale as the lungs can no longer passively recoil and
deflate. Anoticeable and exhausting muscular effort is required for each exhalation. Thus a person
with emphysema exhales slowly.

As molecules move about randomly at high speeds, they collide and bounce off one another,
changing direction with each collision. For a given temperature, all matter has about the same
average kinetic energy. Smaller molecules tend to move faster than larger molecules because kinetic
energy is directly related to both mass and velocity (KE 1⁄2 mv2). When a concentration gradient
(difference in concentration) exists, the net effect of this random molecular movement is that the
molecules eventually become evenly distributed throughout the environment–in other words,
diffusion occurs. Diffusion is the movement of molecules from a region of their higher
concentration to a region of their lower concentration. The driving force behind diffusion is the
kinetic energy of the molecules themselves. The diffusion of particles into and out of cells is
modified by the plasma membrane, which is a physical barrier. In general, molecules diffuse
passively through the plasma membrane if they are small enough to pass through its pores (and are
aided by an electrical and/or concentration gradient) or if they can dissolve in the lipid portion of the
membrane (as in the case of CO2 and O2). A membrane is called selectively permeable,
differentially permeable, or semipermeable if it allows some solute particles (molecules) to pass but
not others. The diffusion of solute particles dissolved in water through a selectively permeable
membrane is

An Internet Marketers Dictionary for Sales Funnel Metrics
Getting caught up in the metrics and numbers propaganda is not uncommon for a marketer or a

Knowing your numbers is crucial in any marketing business; however it can be pretty overwhelming
with the influx of metrics you see everyday. In response to this, here is a list of the common metrics
you may encounter in your traffic dashboards.

Conversion Rate (CVR) This is a common metric which figures out the percentage of people sold
from either a certain page or a sales funnel. This metric is usually found on order form pages where
there is the action of paying for a product/service.
Contacts conversion rate (CCR) Number of generated leads divided by the number of unique
visitors to your page gives you the CCR. You'll easily be able to track how each of your pages is
converting as this metric is in every funnel step.
Cost per customer acquisition (CPA) The cost of getting a new customer into your sales funnel is the
CPA. Its important to know your CPA value when you build your sales funnel because it's going to
cost you every time you bring a new customer to your business to market to them.
Frequency How often your advertisement is being shown to your target audience is referred to as

Health: Heart Disease Essay example
How much does my heart rate change after running in place for 10 minutes?
Introduction
The leading cause of death in the US is heart disease and the fourth leading cause of death in the US
is stroke. Both are related to the heart. Both can be prevented (or at least somewhat alleviated) by
engaging in exercise. Among the other leading causes of death is diabetes, which is related to being
obese (and therefore sedentary). Exercise can reduce the chance of becoming diabetic and is also
important in managing diabetes. In fact, 250,000 deaths in the US can be credited to leading an
exercise–free lifestyle. Less than 1/3 of adults actually do enough physical activity. Heart rate is the
amount of times the heart beats per minute. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If people who exercise regularly do develop cardiovascular disease, they are usually older and their
condition is less severe. Currently, by the American Heart Association's standards, every adult
should do 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of intense exercise a week. A similar
recommendation comes from the 1996 Surgeon General's Report on Physical Activity and Health;
adults are advised to exercise moderately 30 minutes a day, every day. Individuals who do follow
this recommendation tend to have a lower resting heart rate. Usually the lower the heart rate, the
higher the fitness level of the individual. The average adult's heart rate is between 60–100 beats per
minute. This is because during exercise muscles need more oxygen so they end up sending more
blood to the heart and receiving more blood from the heart. After a while, the heart chambers dilate
to hold more blood, and the muscle hypertrophies in response to the increase of stimulation. Thus
the heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood. Aerobic exercises like running and swimming
are particularly effective in this respect.
Hypothesis
If I run in place for 10 minutes, my heart rate will go up by 50% on average.

How Advertising Has Changed Since The World Of Pay Per...
Advertising has changed significantly since the introduction of the Internet. In the past, advertising
mediums such as radio, print, and television ads dominated companies' marketing plans. As the
Internet gained prevalence, more and more of companies' money has been siphoned into email,
social media, and Pay Per Click advertising. In recent years, this has led to marketers placing more
and more weight on analysis like Click Through Rate, Cost Per Click, and Cost Per Acquisition. All
of these terms exist within the world of Pay Per Click advertising, which has become one of the
most prominent forms of advertising on the internet. Due to society's increased reliance on the
Internet, Pay Per Click advertising will continue to grow for years to come. Pay Per Click
advertising, or PPC, refers to the type of advertising commonly found on Google, Bing, other search
engines, and even within some websites. One example of how PPC advertising works is Google
AdWords. This is the software which allows advertisers to publish their ads on Google, and having a
basic understanding of how it works is key to being able to understand why PPC is as important as it
is. To begin with, the simplest form of PPC are the text ads at the top of a Google search. These are
a part of the Google Search Network, and they often look almost the same as organic search results
(organic results are results that appear without any money being spent). The ads appear at the top of
the page, and, in case there

13. What environmental factors that you tested increased the rate of transpiration? Heater, fan, and
lamp. 14. Was the rate of transpiration increased for all plants tested? Yes, all the plants tested
increased. 15. Did any of the environmental factors (heat, light, or wind) increase the transpiration
rate more than the others? Why? If I had to pick an environmental factor, I would say that the fan
had a higher transpiration rate than the others. When you look at all the numbers, you'll see that 8
out of 9 plants had higher numbers with the fan compared to the heater and lamp. With wind moving
past plants, it will have a higher transpiration rate. 16. Which species of plants that you tested had
the highest transpiration rates? Why do you think different species of plants transpire at different
rates? The Rubber Plant has the highest transpiration rates out of all the other plants. I think that
different species of plants transpire at different rates because of areas in which they are: some plants
are from different geographical places. 17. Suppose you coated the leaves of a plant with petroleum
jelly. How would the plant's rate of transpiration be affected? Transpiration would be prevented
because of the petroleum jelly covering and blocking the stomata, thus stopping water loss through
them. 18. Of what value to a plant is the ability to lose water through transpiration? The ability to
lose water through transpiration is at a very high

In order to study the pressure gradient, you will observe how blood flows at a given pressure, then
change the pressure to observe the effects of the change on the blood flow. 1. Set the Pressure to 25
mm Hg by clicking the ( ) button on top of the left beaker. 2. 3. 4. Set the Radius of the tube to 6.0
mm. Set the blood Viscosity to 3.5. Set the vessel Length to 50 mm.
This equation states that changes in pressure, blood vessel radius, viscosity, and vessel length all
have an effect on blood flow. Note that the effect of radius (r) on blood flow is especially strong
(fluid flow varies with radius to the fourth degree). The main method of controlling blood flow is
via contraction or relaxation of the smooth muscle found in the tunica media of an artery. When
contracted, the radius of the artery becomes much smaller, resulting in more resistance to blood flow
within the artery. The smaller arteries and arterioles that regulate blood flow throughout the body are
referred to as resistance vessels and are very important to maintaining arterial blood pressure. If all
blood vessels were to completely relax, blood pressure would fall to very dangerous levels. It is also
known that the lining of arteries, the endothelium, releases nitric oxide in response to rapid flow in
the vessel. The nitric oxide causes a dilation

Huffington Post Arguments For Online Search
When looking for a new product, customers will look to use an online search engine and almost all
websites depend on search engines such as Google, Bing and Yahoo to bring in potential customers.
As stated in coursework 1, The Huffington Post needed to improve their Search Engine
Optimisation (SEO) and the position they hold with regards to online searches. As expected when
searching 'Huffington Post' on search engines, their pages are the top results, along with plenty of
related sites. But in order to increase traffic to The Huffington Post UK, changes need to be
implemented. Without using the word 'Huffington' in the search, their presence is almost
untraceable. Also when searching 'online news', The Huffington Post's site isn't prompted until past
the 5th page. In 2014, Google undertook a study ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, the amount of traffic reaching sights through paid ads can be dependant of where they are
placed. As expected, PPC ads at the top of the page seem to hurt organic results the most, with a
34% drop in click–through–rates for the first organic listing and an average drop of 20% for the first
page. This shows the possible increase in website visitors The Huffington Post could receive if they
were to begin using pay–per–click ads. The next page leads on to an action plan to create a PPC ad
for The Huffington Post and how it will increase traffic to their site. Making a PPC ad takes very
little time at all but can be costly depending on the amount of disposable income the company has.
The whole process can easily be done within a 7 day period. It would only take a day or two to come
up with a distinctive ad design that can draw the customer to the site. While this is being done, a
Google account can be created and key words and phrases can be thought of to increase the
likelihood of the search

Inflation and United States Economy
Economic Forecasting: An Internet WebQuest [pic] INTRODUCTION Economics is often called
the "science of decision making." The decisions that economists analyze range from personal
decisions such as how big a pizza to order or whether to buy or lease a new car to the decisions the
federal government makes about things like the size of our military. Economists use information
about these, and other decisions, to develop indicators that can be used to determine the health of
our economy. Just as a physician relies on indicators such as temperature, blood pressure and heart
rate to determine the health of a patient, economists use indicators like gross domestic product
growth, the unemployment rate and the rate of inflation to predict our ... Show more content on

A Brief Note On The History Of Pay
Written Assignment unit 2
The history of pay–to–click begun in 1996, the first known and documented version of a PPC was
included in a web directory called Planet Oasis. This was a desktop application featuring links to
informational and commercial web sites, and it was developed by Ark Interface II, a division of
Packard bell NEC Computers. The initial reactions from commercial companies to Ark Interface II
's pay–per–visit model were skeptical, however. By the end of 1997, over 400 major brands were
paying between $.005 to $.25 per click plus a placement fee.
In February 1998 Jeffrey Brewer of Goto.com, a 25–employee startup company later Overture, now
part of yahoo, presented a pay per click search engine proof–of–concept to the TED ... Show more

Prior to this, Yahoo 's primary source of SERPS advertising included contextual IAB advertising
units (mainly 468x60 display ads). When the syndication contract with Yahoo was up for renewal in
July 2003, Yahoo announced intent to acquire Overture for $1.63 billion. Today, companies such as
ad Marketplace, Value Click and ad knowledge offer PPC services, as an alternative to AdWords and
AdCenter.
Paid Search Deliverables
In paid inclusion programs, search engines and their ad–feed partners guarantee that their search
engine will list pages from the advertiser 's website in its index. However, paid inclusion typically
does not guarantee that the advertiser 's pages will rank high. At this writing, search engines
Inktomi, AlltheWeb, and AltaVista offer paid inclusion programs.
Paid placement programs, by contrast, generally guarantee that a link to the advertiser 's URL will
be delivered in the search results on a matched keyword or keywords. Location of the delivered link
generally governs the fees, so advertisers will pay more to be placed higher up the page in the search
results.
Development of pay–to–click site through mode of payment
There are two primary models for determining pay–per–click: flat–rate and bid–based. In both
cases, the advertiser must consider the potential value of a click from a given source. This value is
based on the type of individual the advertiser is

  • 3. Compare The Rate Law For The Reaction Of Crystal Violet... In this experiment, the purpose was to determine the rate law for the reaction of crystal violet and sodium hydroxide. By recording the absorbance in a calorimeter in increments of twenty seconds for twenty minutes, three graphs were constructed. From the ln(absorbance) vs. time plot, the reaction was determined to be first order with respect to crystal violet. Based on the data, the rate law for the reaction is concluded to be "rate= k [crystal violet]" . Introduction Crystal violet is a common purple indicator used to observe the rate of a reaction. The color intensity of the dye slowly fades and the solution becomes colorless as a reaction progresses. The kinetics of this "fading" reaction can be analyzed by measuring the absorbance or ... It is imperative to understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to evaluate the performance of SEM. The main KPIs we need to consider in this case are: Engine Click Through Rate (CTR), Transaction Conversion Rate (TCR) and Return on Ad dollar Spent (ROA). The Engine Click Through Rate indicates the percentage of visitors who actually click the ad and it measures the effectives of the ad campaign. Transaction Conversion Rate tells how many clicks are converted into actual transactions. A higher Transaction Conversion Rate indicates higher revenue. ROA indicates the revenue generated by the investment on the ad. A high ROA means the ad campaign is successful. Based on the data provided, I have constructed a Pivot table to examine the KPIs of different publishers. From the table, we can see that the KPIs vary significantly among the publishers. For example, Yahoo stands out as the most efficient publisher, with the lowest Cost Per Click and the highest Revenue Per Booking yielding by far the highest ROA. Overture–US has a very low TCR of 9.49% compared to other publishers with two or three digit TCR. Furthermore, Engine Click Through Rate and ROA vary in different types of campaigns and Keyword Groups. For example, "Business Class" in MSN–US has a zero CTR, which means the campaign is unsuccessful. "Air France Brand" and "Air France Website" in the Keyword Group account for a significant amount of positive ROA across ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. How Does A/B Testing Method Work A/B testing, also known as bucket tests or split testing, tests two versions to find the best option. It is an easy and accurate testing method available with endless range of subjects. Websites, business sales' pages and fundraising campaigns are just some examples. The A/B testing method is applicable for anything where two separate versions can exist. More advanced A/B tests can even run up to four different variables at the same time. How does the A/B testing method work? A/B testing works like any other testing method; you need a control and a variant. An A/B test separates visitors into two equal groups and each group is provided with one version. Group A, or the control, is supplied with the unchanged version. Group B, or the variation, views the version which has something changed. A simple A/B test involves one variation, such as a change in font color. A more complex A/B test may include two variations, such as different font colors and photos. Anything more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Click–through rate applies to whichever URL link gets the most clicks [or responses]. Same color, same price, same perks, and same mileage. These cars are identical except one vehicle is automatic and the other manual transmission. Most people are going to take the automatic instead of the standard, even if the manual costs less. This is what A/B testing does. • 9. Social Media Marketing Strategies Are Really Helping Your... When it comes to social media marketing, it's still pretty new terrain for most businesses. You can never be sure that one type of social media campaign will work for what products or services. So where does that leave you, the company? How are you supposed to know what marketing strategies are actually helping your bottom line? That's where social media metrics come into play. Social media metrics are measurement tools that help you sift through the thousands of likes, retweets, and shares you're getting and make sense of it all. They are there to give some context to the massive amounts of data that you're collecting. In short, they tell you if your marketing works or not. After all, at the end of the day, what's the point of all of this if it isn't helping your company? The tricky thing is, there are hundreds of different metrics so now you have to ask yourself which ones are best for you. Below we'll highlight some of the most useful social media metrics, how they work and why they're so effective. If you would like to look into others, though, we've got a whole glossary full of other metrics here. Impressions To put it briefly, impressions are the number of times that your page is displayed regardless of whether or not people click on it or not. How many people saw your post or update? That's impressions. By no means are impressions the end–all–be–all of social metrics. The key thing to take away from this is that you'll want to study a series of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. How Effective Is A Bottlenose Dolphin's Echolocation? Echolocation is widely used by many species which lives in different habitats. The process works when an organism observes acoustic signals, and attains a sense of the space surrounding from noise or echoes that the organism had detected. Animals use echolocation for specific reasons to determine the presence of nearby preys or predators. This way the process of catching or escaping from objects is more efficient to most species. Many marine and land based species use echolocation as a defense against their surroundings. Although some researcher finds echolocation more effective underwater than on land where mainly light is used. Sound can travel through longer complex frequency with objects than light. Many marine mammals use echolocation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In "Field assessment of C–POD performance in detecting echolocation click trains of bottlenose dolphins (tursiops truncates)," demonstrates the performance of bottlenose dolphin's echolocation detectors in three different areas testing acoustic recording. The echolocation rates presented here were potentially influenced by variation in both the occurrence of dolphins and their echolocation activity among sites (Robert, Read 2015). Based on the results, dolphins use the same variation in all three sites used in the experiment. The shorter the distance from the predator to its prey, higher frequency is used in echolocation of the specie. The detection range of any passive acoustic monitoring units is highly dependent on the environment in which it is deployed and the behavior of the target species being recorded (Robert, Read 2015). Many other environmental factor such as salinity, temperature, and water depth affects the sound of echolocation for the dolphins. In bottlenose dolphins, the brain is the one that receives the sound waves in the form of nerve impulses, which then applies the signal of sound and allows the dolphin to understand what the sound ... Blending your ads in with your site content is most likely the best way to improve your adsense click through rate. Make sure that the link color of your adsense ads is the same as the general link color of your site. The text size of your ads should match as closely as possible the text size of your content. Also make sure the color of the adsense description text is the same as the color of your content text. An important point to note is that your pages should be targeted towards a specific topic. This is important because it will help to draw the most relevant ads. As long as your topic has a fair number of advertisers then you should have no trouble getting relevant ads. Remember that if your ads are irrelevant then they will not get clicked on so check to make sure that you are getting relevant ads showing up on your site. Removing borders from your ads can also have a positive effect since your ads blend in better. Also use the maximum number of ads you are allowed to as long as you have enough content on the page. Remember to never put adsense on pages that have little or no content. When using the link units, make them blend in with the navigational structure of your site. Understanding Google Analytics Essay Understanding Google Analytics Written by Janet Gershen–Siegel When you build a website for your small business (or you have one built for you), it makes a lot of sense to add Google Analytics. This is a small tracking code which either you can add yourself or have a developer do so. In WordPress, there are several plugins which will add the code correctly; all you have to do is paste it in. What's all this data for? The real use of data is to see which content on your website is working for your customers, and what isn't. Furthermore, this sort of data can also alert you to webpages which aren't working at all. The basic report shows a percentage of new and returning visitors, along with sessions, users, page views, session duration, and what's called the bounce rate. The bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who came to your website and only looked at one page. As analytics guru Avinash Kaushik calls it, "I came, I saw, I puked." But the truth is; a bounced visitor isn't necessarily someone who hates your content or who landed by accident and then bailed. It can also be users who love your content but only had the time to view one page, or who got what they wanted from one page, and then they were done. Don't expect this figure to really ever hit zero, but try to get it to decrease. The other metrics are fairly self–explanatory. You will generally see more sessions than users because a user can have more than one session (visit) to your website. Why do you think the ratio of these two values is important to the clinician when diagnosing respiratory diseases? _______ FEV1/FVC _ 100% _ ______________________ Emphysema Breathing In a person with emphysema, there is a significant loss of intrinsic elastic recoil in the lung tissue. This loss of elastic recoil occurs as the disease destroys the walls of the alveoli. Airway resistance is also increased as the lung tissue in general becomes more flimsy and exerts less mechanical tethering on the surrounding airways. Thus the lung becomes overly compliant and expands easily. Conversely, a great effort is required to exhale as the lungs can no longer passively recoil and deflate. Anoticeable and exhausting muscular effort is required for each exhalation. Thus a person with emphysema exhales slowly. 1. Using this information, predict what lung values will change in the spirogram when the patient with

Smaller molecules tend to move faster than larger molecules because kinetic energy is directly related to both mass and velocity (KE 1⁄2 mv2). When a concentration gradient (difference in concentration) exists, the net effect of this random molecular movement is that the molecules eventually become evenly distributed throughout the environment–in other words, diffusion occurs. Diffusion is the movement of molecules from a region of their higher concentration to a region of their lower concentration. The driving force behind diffusion is the kinetic energy of the molecules themselves. The diffusion of particles into and out of cells is modified by the plasma membrane, which is a physical barrier. In general, molecules diffuse passively through the plasma membrane if they are small enough to pass through its pores (and are aided by an electrical and/or concentration gradient) or if they can dissolve in the lipid portion of the membrane (as in the case of CO2 and O2). A membrane is called selectively permeable, differentially permeable, or semipermeable if it allows some solute particles (molecules) to pass but not others. Introduction The leading cause of death in the US is heart disease and the fourth leading cause of death in the US is stroke. Both are related to the heart. Both can be prevented (or at least somewhat alleviated) by engaging in exercise. Among the other leading causes of death is diabetes, which is related to being obese (and therefore sedentary). Exercise can reduce the chance of becoming diabetic and is also important in managing diabetes. In fact, 250,000 deaths in the US can be credited to leading an exercise–free lifestyle. If people who exercise regularly do develop cardiovascular disease, they are usually older and their condition is less severe. Currently, by the American Heart Association's standards, every adult should do 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 minutes of intense exercise a week. A similar recommendation comes from the 1996 Surgeon General's Report on Physical Activity and Health; adults are advised to exercise moderately 30 minutes a day, every day. Individuals who do follow this recommendation tend to have a lower resting heart rate. Usually the lower the heart rate, the higher the fitness level of the individual. The average adult's heart rate is between 60–100 beats per minute. This is because during exercise muscles need more oxygen so they end up sending more blood to the heart and receiving more blood from the heart. After a while, the heart chambers dilate to hold more blood, and the muscle hypertrophies in response to the increase of stimulation. Thus the heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood. Aerobic exercises like running and swimming are particularly effective in this respect. Hypothesis If I run in place for 10 minutes, my heart rate will go up by 50% on average. In the past, advertising mediums such as radio, print, and television ads dominated companies' marketing plans. As the Internet gained prevalence, more and more of companies' money has been siphoned into email, social media, and Pay Per Click advertising. In recent years, this has led to marketers placing more and more weight on analysis like Click Through Rate, Cost Per Click, and Cost Per Acquisition. All of these terms exist within the world of Pay Per Click advertising, which has become one of the most prominent forms of advertising on the internet. Due to society's increased reliance on the Internet, Pay Per Click advertising will continue to grow for years to come. Pay Per Click advertising, or PPC, refers to the type of advertising commonly found on Google, Bing, other search engines, and even within some websites. One example of how PPC advertising works is Google AdWords. This is the software which allows advertisers to publish their ads on Google, and having a basic understanding of how it works is key to being able to understand why PPC is as important as it is. To begin with, the simplest form of PPC are the text ads at the top of a Google search. Note that the effect of radius (r) on blood flow is especially strong (fluid flow varies with radius to the fourth degree). The main method of controlling blood flow is via contraction or relaxation of the smooth muscle found in the tunica media of an artery. When contracted, the radius of the artery becomes much smaller, resulting in more resistance to blood flow within the artery. The smaller arteries and arterioles that regulate blood flow throughout the body are referred to as resistance vessels and are very important to maintaining arterial blood pressure. If all blood vessels were to completely relax, blood pressure would fall to very dangerous levels. A Brief Note On The History Of Pay Written Assignment unit 2 The history of pay–to–click begun in 1996, the first known and documented version of a PPC was included in a web directory called Planet Oasis. Location of the delivered link generally governs the fees, so advertisers will pay more to be placed higher up the page in the search results. Development of pay–to–click site through mode of payment There are two primary models for determining pay–per–click: flat–rate and bid–based. In both cases, the advertiser must consider the potential value of a click from a given source. This value is based on the type of individual the advertiser is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
