2. Adventure Park
This is a public park which allows access to the public 24 hours
a day so there will be no access issues with this location. We
chose this location as this is a typical setting that teens in our
opening sequence would hang around in.
Scenes filmed in this location will include the opening scene of
our sequence when Jay our protagonist of the film is slowly
dying. As this is a public park there could be some health and
safety issues for us, these may include such things as cars
driving in and out of the park, this could effect us as these cars
could potentially harm us or our actors.
3. Living Room
This will be used for only one scene but a very important one it is when we are first introduced to Disney we see her
putting money into her mothers purse, we needed to use a house to showcase Disney living environment and what
she comes from, as it is my home there will be no issues with access. Heath and safety issues we may face in my
home are very slim they only issue we could come across is the fact that the lighting kit we are borrowing from
school (to ensure we get the best lighting) has a very high voltage and has been known to blow the electricity when
pupils have taken them home in order to prevent any issues we will also be borrowing an electric adapter, another
health and safety issue also stemming from the light kit is the wires these will need to tapped down in order to
create a safe working environment. This specific location doesn't necessarily link to the genre of our opening
sequence however it is essential we show Disney supporting her family. Obviously as this is my home we did not
need to preform a recce but our production team have been here before and know what to expect.
4. Cambridge Estate
We will be filming a large portion of our opening
sequence on and around Cambridge Estate we have
chosen to do this as this location fits very well with
the theme of our opening sequence two of our main
characters are from working class families, Living on
an estate. We will film all of our gang scenes on the
estate this will be so we get an authentic gang vibe.
Access issues we could face with Cambridge estate
are that is it the councils property so we will need to
speak to Kingston council and check that is it okay
for us to film here, we will do this by going into the
community building in Cambridge Gardens and speaking
to the people in there. As this is a very busy estate
with people and vehicles coming in and out all day
we will need to take safety measures to ensure
ourselves and our actors remain safe, we will do this
by not filming on or close to the main road and by
checking the area we chose to film in thoroughly, We
have preformed a recce of the grounds and have
found it to be predominantly a safe location to film.
