Payment Schedule
Payments are made via either direct deposit or physical check on the 15th and last day of
every month. If you have selected check as your method, your check will be mailed to your
address on file. If you selected direct deposit but need to change your banking
information, please contact HR as soon as possible.

Health benefits are considered pre-tax
contributions. If you make contributions to
retirement funds such as 401K then that can
also be a pre-tax deduction.
Federal income tax, state income tax,
as well as your share of FICA and SDI
are all withheld from your pay on
each pay check.
Common post-tax deductions include
retirement funds, wage garnishments, and
union dues. Please check with your personal
accountant for tax advice..

Paid Time Off All employees have these days off: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day,
Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans
Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day.
Out of consideration for lengthy commute time in the city and for those who live
far, we allow 12 work remote days per year. Please note that a maximum number
of 2 work remote days are allowed per month.
Paid Time Off Days are accrued on a monthly basis throughout the year. All
unused PTO days will be rolled over to the following year(s). Please submit your
PTO request at least one week before the planned dates.
Work Hours &
Attendance
We’re happy to offer reasonable flexibility to your schedule. As a full time employee, please just note
that you are still required to fulfil your 8-hour per day requirement. Please see below for core working
hours, attendance policies, medical leave, and maternity leave policies.
Hours
• Normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
• Lunch hours and break times are flexible within reason
• Salaried employees are not paid for any overtime hours
Attendance
• Normal business hour attendance expected unless otherwise noted
• You may work remotely from our other office locations
• Attendance for team retreats encouraged but not required
Medical
• 5 paid sick days per year, cannot be rolled over to next year
• Notify your immediate supervisor as soon as you can
• You should not use sick days for non-medical reasons
Maternity
• 12 weeks of total maternity leave: 2 paid weeks and 10 unpaid
• Please notify HR if you need special accommodations upon returning

Possession and/or use of drugs, alcohol, and smoking are
strictly prohibited at or within the vicinity of office.

It is illegal for employers to allow anyone to be sexually harassed at work by
anyone else, regardless of sex, gender, or sexual orientation.
Workplace discrimination
Discriminatory practices include bias in hiring, promotion, job assignment,
termination, compensation, retaliation, and various types of harassment.
Complaints and investigation
If you are a victim of any form of discrimination or harassment, or if you
are a witness of such, please report to HR as soon as possible.
In order to provide better nourishment and
convenience for our employees, we keep snacks
around the office and in the kitchen area. Please
be aware that that if you have any food allergies
to check the food labels. If you’re experiencing
any allergic reaction that requires medical
attention, please notify the front desk
immediately.
Allergy Warning
Our office is open from 9am to 6pm. If you
need before or after hour access, please use
your key. If you do not have your key card,
please dial the security office to be buzzed
in. Since this is an open office space, we
advise that you keep your important
belongs locked or take them home at the
end of the day.
Shared Spaces
You can also connect to our Wifi network on
your cellular devices and tablets. Our only ask is
that you use your smart devices responsibly and
in a way that will not distract your colleagues.
Personal calls should be taken outside or in a
communal area. If you need to take calls at your
desk, please use headset instead of speaker.

Termination and Resignation
Our employees are our biggest assets, but sometimes things might not work out or you might decide to take a different direction. In either case, a three-
week notice (either of termination or of resignation) must be given. Any unused PTO will be paid out as a bonus with your last pay check, which you will
receive 15 days after your last day. Insurance benefits will remain effective for one month after your last day.

projected last day. In case of termination,
you will receive an official letter of
termination from head of HR in person as
well as direct communication from direct
manager.
Your direct manager will outline the
remaining tasks to be completed before
your last day. Please also use this time to
pass on any projects to your team mates
or any new hires being trained. All legal
paperwork will be processed and exit
interview will be conducted during your
last week.
Please ensure that you clean your desk and
clear out all your belongs on or before your last
day. You will be required to turn in your keys
and key card to HR before you leave the office
on your last day. Employee ID, portal access,
and email will be deactivated and you must
return all equipment belong to the company.

  • 13. 10 Public Holidays 12 Work Remote Days 15 PTO Days Work Remote & Paid Time Off All employees have these days off: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day. Out of consideration for lengthy commute time in the city and for those who live far, we allow 12 work remote days per year. Please note that a maximum number of 2 work remote days are allowed per month. Paid Time Off Days are accrued on a monthly basis throughout the year. All unused PTO days will be rolled over to the following year(s). Please submit your PTO request at least one week before the planned dates.
  • 14. Work Hours & Attendance We’re happy to offer reasonable flexibility to your schedule. As a full time employee, please just note that you are still required to fulfil your 8-hour per day requirement. Please see below for core working hours, attendance policies, medical leave, and maternity leave policies.   • 21. 1 2 3 Termination and Resignation Our employees are our biggest assets, but sometimes things might not work out or you might decide to take a different direction. In either case, a three- week notice (either of termination or of resignation) must be given. Any unused PTO will be paid out as a bonus with your last pay check, which you will receive 15 days after your last day. Insurance benefits will remain effective for one month after your last day.
