This document discusses three music videos that provide inspiration for the creation of the author's own video. The first video, "Vogue" by Madonna, inspired the use of black and white frames and modeling poses connected to the song's lyrics. The second, "How Do You Sleep?" provided examples of choreography connecting to lyrics and music. The third, a Post Malone video, inspired the incorporation of drag culture through its portrayal of outfits and makeup from the drag community.

3 music videos
1. Vogue
I chose this particular video
because it is one of the most
popular videos in its time. I
liked the idea of black and
white frames rather than
just colour. In my own video
I have a vision of people
posing like models in a few
of the scenes and so I am
looking at this video for
inspiration of what looks
best and how certain close
ups and wide shots look
better than others. By
Madonna’s song being based
on the modelling magazine
‘Vogue it also shows how
the choreography can be
connected to the lyrics
2. How do you sleep
I chose to look at
this video because I
really liked the
Choreography and in
my video I would
like to incorporate
some dancing. It
shows how the
Choreography can
again connect to the
Lyrics and music.
3. Post Malone
I chose to look at this music video in more
detail as it incorporates a different social
group to the other 2 videos which is the Drag
community. In my video I want to incorporate
drag and the culture, so by looking at the
outfits and makeup of the video it inspires me
to look at mine in more detail.
