12. Safety Protocols for the Distribution,
Retrieval and Disinfection of Learning
Modules and other materials
Distribution Retrieval Disinfection
Step 1: All modules should be
placed in a container box.
Step 1: Retrieved modules should
be placed in a container box by
the guardians or parents
Step 1: Room used for
disinfection should be secured
first, to avoid health hazard.
Step 2: All learning modules
should be placed inside the
learners plastic envelopes

disinfection.
Step 2. Modules inside the
container boxes should be
exposed to the UV Light Bulb for
2 hours.
Step 3: The modules will be
distributed to the learners and
guardians with the proper
observance of the minimum
public health standard
Step 3. In order not to be
exposed of the UV light hazard,
teachers should only enter the
room 20 minutes after the UV
light bulb has been turned off.

TEACHING PERSONNEL, LEARNERS AND THOSE WHO ENTERS THE SCHOOL
PREMISES AND CLASSROOMS SHOULD UNDERGO TEMPERATURE CHECK AND
OBSERVE PROPER HANDWASHING.
LEARNERS AND TEACHING PERSONNEL AND NON-TEACHING PERSONNEL WHO
HAVE COVID SYMPTOMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REPORT IN SCHOOL
TEACHERS AND LEARNERS WHO MANIFEST COVID SYMPTOMS INSIDE THE SCHOOL
MUST BE ISOLATED IN AN ISOLATION FACILITY DESIGNATED BY THE SCHOOLS
WHILE WAITING FOR THE PARENTS IN CASE OF LEARNERS TO FETCH THEM.
IN CASE OF COVID INFECTIONS AMONG THE LEARNERS, TEACHING AND NON-

IF THERE IS AN AUTHORIZED PERSON WHO CAN CONDUCT MHPSS, IT
SHOULD BE DONE TO THOSE WHO ARE EXPOSED TO THE RISK.
IN CASE OF LOCAL TRANSMISSION WITHIN THE BARANGAY/PUROK, ALL
LEARNERS AND SCHOOL STAFFS COMING FROM THAT BARANGAY
