 Established in 1989, listing on ASX in 1994
 Operator of 5 NSW mines (plus 2 in care and maintenance),
producing approx 15 million tonnes annually and employing over
1,400 people
 Total reserves of 348 Mt
 Fuelling approximately 40% of the State’s coal fired electricity
 65% production to domestic customers (Mt Piper, Eraring and
Vales Point)
 35% production exported (customers include power stations and
industry in predominately Japan, Korea, Taiwan)
 November 2010 - became a wholly owned subsidiary of Banpu
Public Company Ltd, Asia’s largest independent energy group
