2. Skye Soars to Success!

Congratulations to Skye Shotton for her recent achievement in Vienna, at the
Austrian Open as a member the Southport Aerobic Gymnastics Team! Summer Term 2009
Skye gained a personal best score in Austria of 15.050 in a tough competition with Children return to school:
nearly 50 gymnasts in her category from 16 nations! It was a memorable 5 days for Monday 20th April 2009.

There are up to 164 children receiving a school dinner each day here at Monday 1st June.

Beauty and the Beast
Year 5 children have been invited to visit Meols Cop High School on Wednesday 26th November to
watch a performance of the pantomime, Beauty and the Beast. We will be walking to and from Meols
Cop, and will be back at Norwood in time for lunch. More information will be sent out shortly.
The children will, of course be accompanied by staff and other adults, and we would appreciate offers of
help to accompany the children on this short walk.

The score and the result of this game changed dramatically due to 2 five 1K: Ellie Ferguson
minute periods in both halves, when Kingswood took advantage of their
chances to give them an overwhelming but flattering win. With promising 1B: Megan Ferguson
debuts for Jordan Scutt and David Berry, this was a much better 2L: Fahim Alom
performance from the previous game. The first half saw the Y6 players
working hard defensively to keep out Kingswood, while in the second half 2M: Shafayeth Uddin
