2. Overview
• The song is called Naked Alone and is by L.Devine
• Our main message/ narrative is about a girl being alone and
throughout the video grows in confidence and becomes
empowered, this will be apparent through things such as
dance.
• For our lead singer we were thinking of using Martine.
• And for dancers A1’s and A2’s such as Phoebe B and Eliska.
• We want this video to be really fun and fast pace.
4. Set One: RED
• For our first set we want an all red room, with a bed in it, bedside tables
etc. but everything to be red as well as the walls.
• We also want Martine to be wearing red tracks as this is very current
and will correlate with the back ground well.
• For our opening, there is quite a fast sound, we had an idea to correlate
this shot with a fast hand held shot which quickly goes around the room,
we would immediately go to a mid of Martine singing whilst sitting
crosslegged at the front of the bed. We could also get wide shots of her
moving around the room and singing looking really sassy.
• Around the room we want to have Chinese take out food to create the
idea she has had a night alone and is fed up.
7. Set Two: YELLOW
• For our second set we want to have a yellow back drop, with our
dancers wearing yellow.
• During this segment we want to get a big variety of shots, especially
close ups of them humming and mouthing the words to the back in
track. When edited this could look really effective on a split screen
playing different pictures at the same time. Here is an example from a
sound of ministry video https://vimeo.com/188269060 .
• Alot of the dancing Nate can choreograph as he is a very talented
dancer, the main style we had in mind was commercial.
• We also want to have a darker yellow colours in the corners of the
room to create more depth in the shot.
9. Set Three: PURPLE
• For our set we want a variety of helium balloons of
different sizes and heights or stick them to the walls.
• We will have Martine performing with a retro microphone
at the front with maybe two of the background dancers.
• We also want to have a darker purple colour in the corners
of the room to create more depth in the shot.
