Definition:
Power (P) is the rate of which work is done or the rate at

which energy is converted from one form into another.
POWER
Notes:
 Principle of Conservation of Energy(PCE)
Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed
from one form into another one.
Mass is regarded as a form of energy.
Note:
1. An alternative statement is the total energy of an isolated system
is constant.
2. Mass is regarded as a form of energy. This is the idea of massenergy equivalence
 Principle of Conservation of Mechanical Energy(PCME)
When a body moves up or down in a gravitational field the total
Mechanical energy (TME = kinetic plus potential) is conserved once
there are no dissimilative forces.
Note:
1. Simply stated it means that if a body moves up or down between
2 levels in a gravitational field then:
