2. Aims and Considerations
How many existing artefacts do you feel you will need to look at?
I feel that I need to look at 3 artefacts so I can make sure I have enough information and I
have included everything I need for my own product.
What kinds of artefacts are you expecting to look at?
The type of artefacts I am expecting to look at are posters, bus shelter advertisements,
electronic billboards/billboards.
What elements will you be looking at to help you with your research?
The elements I will be looking at to help me with my research are the fonts and colours that
are used.
3. Aims and Considerations
How many people would you hope to question as part of your primary research?
I aim to question 20 people as part of my primary research which will be through an online
questionnaire. If I do not get many responses from this then I would result in asking my
family and friends to fill out a questionnaire.
What age group would you like to target and why?
I would like to target the age group of 14-24 year olds because it says on
homelessness.org.uk that 75000 people aged between 14 and 24 have experienced
homelessness.
What methods will you use?
The methods I will use are an online questionnaire which will probably be the best option
because these days more people are on the internet, however if this fails I will ask my family
and friends to fill them out for me.
4. Images
I would like the images for my product to
be in black and white because I think that
this effect makes everything look dull. It
can also change the mood from happy to
sad because there are no bright colours
involved.
I would like some of my images to feature
the faces of homeless people that are
looking straight at the camera because
these images can make you feel guiltier
and more sorry for the people.
I would also like some of my images to
be of homeless people where you cannot
see their faces because these are very
effective.
The image/images will be the main
feature of the product as that is what
most people will be looking at so the
photograph needs to be clear and show
what the message of the product is.
