limited growth in chip–cooling techniques, multicore processors were used to satisfy the user's need
for performance. But even this multicore processors are currently inefficient to deliver and cool
efficiently due to stunted growth in cooling technologies. But this multicore processors too are
power limited, as a result multicore processing will soon hit the power wall. The recent study shows
that at technology node 22nm, 21% of the chip is dark and using ITRS scaling at 8nm, more than

Defining intelligence is extremely difficult and researchers now think that there are lots of different

years. The Moore's second law express which can be described as the economic side of Moore's

A so called point–to–point link (Fig. 2.0) provides a pre–established WAN communication path

It could be argued that their increased susceptibility is due to many of the effects of social exclusion
being intertwined and linked, as research has shown both physical health and family status can
impact upon a person's level of educational attainment (Lleras–Muney, 2005). Low educational
attainment can then impact upon the employability of the individual therefore impacting upon the
level of income attained during adulthood (Sparkes, 1999). In turn this can impact upon the services
and facilities available to that individual; as Duffy (2000) states there is a higher demand on services
within deprived areas, yet the services themselves lack quality. As a result this supports the
hypothesis that a cycle of disadvantage can form, as the risks of social exclusion pass through
generations (SEU, 2004a).
This is particularly clear when analysing how social exclusion impacts upon victims of domestic
abuse. The nature of domestic abuse is not only violence in the physical sense; it can also be
psychological, sexual and financial (Women's Aid, 2007). Consequently victims of domestic abuse
can find it extremely difficult to keep employment (Sachs, 1999) thus they can become financially
dependent upon the abuser (Norman and Barron, 2011) therefore poverty can become a prevalent
problem.

Integrated Service–Learning Experience In the summer of 2014, I started as a volunteer tutor for the
Youth Tutoring Program which is a part of Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. I
started at the Boys and Girls Club in Rainier Vista and my first center supervisor was Annie Pigott
who was warm and eager to help me get accustomed. The summer tutoring program differs from the
school season program; it would usually be one tutor with three to five kids and the focus was on

This tactic is highly effective because the tutor is able to tailor to what the student needs and the
more they get to know them the more efficient the tutor is. For example, every Tuesday during the
school year, I worked with a fifth grade boy named Kalid and after a few months I knew that he
awfully struggled with math and so I started a math regimen for him which we worked
consecutively on together. I knew what he remembered and what he liked and what he did not. I
knew the best way for him to practice (flash cards) and what did not work for him. I also believe
that consistency is key and so I was there every week, out of town vacations or sickness were rare
exceptions, and I am sure the familiarity helps. On Mondays I worked with a seventh grade girl
named Melika and she enjoyed telling me about her life every week. She told me about school and
sports and I was happy to listen. Some students do not have the same constant tutor every week but
each student has a daily log where the last tutor fills out what they worked on, what they struggled
with, and what they excelled at so the next person can follow off that. This journal method is also

The aim of the Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout–Design Act 2000 is to provide protection
of Intellectual Property Right (IPR) in the area of Semiconductor Integrated Circuit Layout Designs
and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
2. What is the present status of the SICLD Act 2000?
The SICLD Act 2000 was Gazetted on the 4 th September 2000 (Part II–Section I, No. 46 ). The
rules under the Act have been Gazetted on December 11, 2001 ( Part II. Section 3 , No 615) . The
Act is being implemented in stages. Sections 3 and 5 of the Act have been brought to force w.e.f.
