6. The Link between Dairy Foods
and Cancer
• Dr. David Rose at the American Health
Foundation examined the international death
rates from a variety of cancers.
• They found that the more milk and meat eaten in
a country, the greater the risk of breast cancer.
• Prostate and ovarian cancer risks were also
associated with milk use.
• DR. La Vecchia in Italy have shown that prostate
cancer risk increases in a “dose response” fashion
with milk drinking.
Nedley, Neil, M.D., Proof Positive, p. 245
7. “CANCER IS PREVENTABLE”
• Surgeon General concludes:
In the course of this research, it has
become clear that many cancers
have external causes and, in
principle, should therefore be
preventable.”
The Surgeon General’s Report on Nutrition and Health, U.S. Dept. of Health and Services, Public Health Service, 1988, p.179
8. The Authorities
Re. Diet and Cancer
• The director of the National Cancer Institute’s division of
Cancer Prevention and Control concluded:
• “A greater number of studies have shown that a diet rich in
fruits and vegetables has a protective effect against
cancer.”
• Persons with high fruit and vegetables intakes have about
half the risk of people with low intakes.
• “A lack of a single serving each day
may add up to a great
deficit over time.”
Better Nutrition, May 1994, p.20.
9. • UNHEALTHFUL FOOD.
• THE FOOD TAKEN DOES NOT SATISFY THE APPETITE.
• Unhealthy conditions are established, and there is a craving for more
stimulating food. TEA, COFFEE, AND FLESH MEATS produce an
immediate effect.
• Under the influence of these poisons, the nervous system is excited, and, in
some cases, for the time being, the intellect seems to be invigorated and the
imagination to be more vivid. Because these stimulants produce for the time
being such agreeable results, many conclude that they really need them, and
continue their use. But there is always a reaction. The nervous system, having
been unduly excited, borrowed power for present use from its future resources
of strength. All this temporary invigoration of the system is followed by
depression. In proportion as these stimulants temporarily invigorate the
system, will be the letting down of the power of the excited organs after the
stimulus has lost its force.
• THE APPETITE IS EDUCATED TO CRAVE SOMETHING
STRONGER, which will have a tendency to keep up and increase the
agreeable excitement, until indulgence becomes habit, and
• there is a continual craving for stronger stimulus, as TOBACCO, WINES,
AND LIQUORS. The more the appetite is indulge, the more frequent will
be its demands, and the more difficult of control. The more debilitated the
system becomes, and the less able to do without unnatural stimulus, the more
the passion for these things increases, until the will is overborne, and there
seems to be no power to deny the unnatural craving for these indulgences.

15. WHY DOES EXERCISE REDUCE
CANCER RISK?
Sustained exercise
1. Stimulates WBC’s to release Interlukin I,
a natural chemotherapy agent.
2. Interlukin I stimulates the release of
Interlukin II which also aids the immune
system.
3. Doubles plasma
Interferon levels
which also works
as a chemotherapy
agent.
