Kabisera
In the movie, the first scene that i have observed that has Ellaboration likelihood model was
when Andres, a fisherman, went fishing then he found two water boxes floating in the waters.
Those boxes contain 100 kilos of meth.then he decided to put it on a sort of an outhouse. He and
her wife took the initiative to sell it locally abound their neighborhood. The theory best suits the
seen because they are only using their peripheral route. They are not aware of what meth could
do to their lives and the people who would buy and venture it, they are just about the profit that
they would get. The second scene would be in the rivers were Andres and jose spent their
childhood days. On that place they use to tell each others secrets. Social penetration theory suites
these scene because they share and disclose intimate information and experiences that they had.
The third scene is when Andres ask for a bigger share in the business, jose agreed to a fifty fifty
split if Andres would participate more in the running of business. Then Andres agrees to it,
without considering that he might be involved in a crime not knowing that the PDEA is already
on the streets to bust the meth vendors and users to stop this illegal course of action. A done deal
was shown in the scene, so Reinforcement theory xan be observed.
Blue Bustamante
The first scene that I choose that depicts Interpersonal Dissonance Theory was when George
hesitates to tell his family about his new job in japan right after he was denied as an engineer. He
become afraid and think of what shame would his family think about him, and also his in-laws.
The second scene depicts Expectation Violation theory was when ayumi assumed that George
has the same feelings as to how she felt the way about George. But George wants them to be
friends and nothing more above it. The third scene happened in the beer garden. Social
penetration theory was observed. roger told George that that the recipients of the letters that he
send to the Philippines was his grandmother. Roger had a breakdown and cried. The scene
depicts the said theory because it shows the bond and the friendship that they had during the past
and up to the present time.
2. Shift
In this film, Uncertainty Reduction theory can be observed during the scene when stela a call
center agent had a new team wherein they have to introduce themselves and their thoughts about
the new team. Nest scene was when Stela met trevor and become more close with each other
because of trevors initiative to ask about some things about stela’s life. moreover, the
conversation went intimate and they both ask each other about love and other experiences
wherein Social penetration Theory can be seen. The scene where where stela begun to realized
that if a lady like her is even emasculate because of her actions and gestures could fall for a guy,
then a gay man like trevor could feel the same way/ but she was disappointed because trevor
only treats her as a friend and not even wanting to go to the next level.

The movie ganito kami noon, paano kayo ngayon is one of the best local film in
consideration with its cinematography, the script and content of the story itself. Maybe
because the movie tackles how the Spanish and amrican colonization affected the minds
and doings of the Filipinos and how it change us. A picturesque tale of Kulas, a country
bumpkin, whose misadventures symbolize the search for the elusive Filipino identity at a
time when Spain was being replaced by the United States as the colonizer after a short -
lived period of Philippine independence. A sprawling historical epic, which details the
country's struggles in establishing its cultural identity dating from the Revolution against
Spain until the Philippine-American War, as seen through the eyes of a provincial young
man. Unanimously celebrated by audiences and critics alike, Ganito Kami Noon was chosen
as Best Picture of the Year by the Manunuri Pelikulang Pilipino, and was eventually cited as
one of top ten films of that impressive decade. In 2002, it was selected as one of the best
films of the past 30 years from Pepper Marcelo.
The theory that is more evident and shown in the film was interpersonal Deception Theory.
It is because the theory states that the communication sender attempts to manipulate
messages. it occurred in the movie because the main issue in the film is the query who is
the real Filipino and the Spanish tried to state a wrong depiction about the Filipinos true
identity. these made a huge conflict between the Spanish and the Filipinos and also between
the Filipinos who have been manipulated by the Spaniards and the Filipinos who believed
that there is more to being a true Filipino prior the colonization of the Spaniards.
