utilizingmanydifferentmethodsandtoolstodemonstrate the knowledge theyare absorbing.
On Mondaythe classwill geta general overview of whatthe Johari Window isandhow I will be asking
themto lookat the relationshipswiththeirvariousfriends.We will be usingthe smartboardto display
the windowandto have the studentsgive whattheythinkwouldgointhe differentpanes.Theywill
alsobe usingtheirpersonal classblogtowrite acouple paragraphsto talkabout how theythinkthey
woulduse thismethod.
Tuesdaywe start diggingintothe Johari Window anddiscussingwhatthingswe deemtobe openabout
ourselves.We willbe listeningtoa podcaston the Johari window andaboutopenself. The assignment
for the day isto use digital imagingsoftwaretotake a photoof themandto add wordsthat theybelieve
describe the openself aspertainstothem. Additionallytheywillbe addingtotheirpersonal blogabout
the openself andwhattheyunderstooditto be.
Wednesdaywe talkaboutthe hiddenself andhow those are thingspeopledonotyetknow aboutthem.
We will be watchingseveralYouTube videoscreatedaboutthe Johari Window astheyare workingto
create an itemthat will reflectthe firsttwopartsof the window discussed,openandhiddenself.They
will alsobe askedtogo onto Globsterto make a “glob” of the information;thiswill be helpful tothem
for Thursday’sposterproject. Theywill continue toaddto theirblogonthe hiddenself.
Thursdaywe will be discussingthe blindself andhow we canattemptto helpshape those assumptions.
We will be watchingapersonal YouTube videoaboutayounggirl andwhat she thinksherwindowisfor
herself.Theywill alsobe takingthe Globsterprojectthattheystartedyesterdayandmakingaposter,
theywill fill outthe firsttwoboxes(Open,Hidden) afterthisiscompleted,studentswillgoaroundthe
room addingBlindSelf itemsforthe otherstudents. We will alsodiscusshavingthe ZelloChannel open
to themto discussprojectsthathave beenassignedforthe week.Theywill be alsoaddingto theirblog
on howtheyfeel aboutthingsthatmaybe ontheirblindself,alsoaddingaphotoof theirposter.
Fridaywe will wrapupon the windowwithdiscussionof the unknownself,we will be discussinghow
these boxeswillshiftaswe gettoknowsomeone betterandhow theyare continuouslyfluid.Foran
evaluationof the overall topictheywill be askedtoview avideoonthe classface bookand posta
comment,makingsure toscreenshotthe commenttotheirblog,theywill alsobe takingatwitterpoll
and blendspace quiztowhichtheywillalsobe addingthese totheirpersonal classblog.
