1. Nancy Stringfellow
Major Registered Nursing
My goal is to get my degree to become a RN and to study for my
Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) once completed I will transfer to a 4 year
college such as and most likely The University of North Texas (UNT) ,
where I will join the program to become a Nurse Practitioner and
eventually open my own family practice. It’s exciting to think about and
nerve racking at the same time, but I know it will be all worth it in the
end.
2. My favorite assignments
• Scavenger hunt, Because not only did I get to meet the people who are in charge
of the resources that are on campus, but I got an opportunity to have fun with
classmates while looking for those places.
• Learning service project, Though at first I felt like I didn’t have enough time to
study, do homework, and help someone else out, but I was able to manage, I had
a lot of fun working to help out my church, even though vacuuming pews with a
standard house vacuum was pretty back breaking and the floors are made of red
dirt and inhaling the dust that was stirred up made being sick already pretty
rough, but I knew I was doing a great deed and it made me feel amazing.
• Journal 27, That assignment really spoke to me, we wrote about a time that an
experience we had when you were greatly tempted to abandon one of your
important values, and I just knew the from the moment I read this journals
direction I knew what experience I had to write about, and I had found that I use
some important skills I learned throughout our classes and I was proud of
myself.

• Week 4 had to be my week in module 3 Metacognition, Bloom's
Taxonomy and Stage Theory, Because I really enjoyed the teamwork

Self assessment 2
The most important discover I have made about myself thus far has been that I let life
dictate my success and if I am to accomplish my goals I need to continue making
changes in my life that are problem areas. I was not managing my time correctly, and I
was not any closer to my goals. And finally I was not as independent as I thought I was
to begin with, but this course has helped me to get better at asking for help when I
need it, and to do what is important first.
7. If it rains or shines, these people are
always by my side. I will have the love that
and everyone of them has given me over
the years, and this is the most important
thing to me, not the money I make, not the
things I can buy, these people can’t be
replaced, and even when I reach my goals, I
will still have them forever and always.
