this is survey done to know that even after having more benificial effects then antibiotics what is the status of use of medicinal plants.

To know wheather the people are aware about
the use of medicinal plants.
To obtain well characterized and reproducible
samples of medicinal plants .
To check the present status and reliability on
traditional system of medicine.

3. INTRODUCTION
 Medicinal plants have been identified and
used throughout human history,plants have
the ability to synthesis the wild variety of
chemical compounds that are used to
perform important biological function.

4. Methodology
 We gathered knowledge about medicinal
plants which are present in our surrounding
and easily available.
 Than we surveyed in Shahpur area and
asked questions about the use of medicinal
plants now a days.

Medicinal use :Crushed plant impart specific flavor
to local wine. Leaves and roots useful in asthma,
bronchitis, cough, rheumatism and as insecticide.

15. CONCLUSIONS
 People are aware about medicinal plants and
they know their uses.
 According to them medicinal plants are best and
medicinal plants show fast relieving properties.
 Even after knowing about the benefits of the
medicinal plants they still prefer antibiotics as
they said “who will waste time in collecting and
preparing these medicinal plants for medicinal
use.”

16.  Even after knowing about the long term effects
of antibiotics they use these medicines because
these are easily available and response more
faster than medicinal plants.
