Description: HUAWEI's SGSN9810 is the GPRS/EDGE/UMTS PS equipment of the
Core Network (CN). Its main functions include mobility management, session
management, packet routing and transfer, CDR generation and output,SMS, CAMEL,
Lawful Interception and QoS management. Huawei Technologies is world’s largest
network components manufacturer. Basically they manufacture Routers, Switches
and SGSNs (Signalling Gateway Support Node). I was sole responsible for testing
SGSN whose main purpose was to manage customer information and Billing. The
key feature of this project was the client had their own test environment and hence
the testing team had to work at onsite. Checking the functionality of the product as
per the user manuals provided to us was my prime job.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and execution of test cases.
Consistency testing of user manuals of SGSN9810 and USN9810 using
software such as OMU, LMT, etc by executing commands on this.
Carrying out System, Functionality and Regression testing.
Reporting Bugs and tracking it to closure.
Conduct GUI, Functional, Regression, and QA tests on the Clients Software.
Reporting of weekly status testing activity.

OpsoLight+ is the project undertaken by the Unilever Asia/AMET to enable the
Customer Development Team of any country operation to smartly plan and execute
various kinds of trade and customer based promotions in their country.
This product is a Trade promotion management application (TPM) developed
on .net Framework with SQL Server 2005 as database. This is a regional TPM
solution with a single instance for multiple countries in APAC and AMET region.
Product will be rolled out to a minimum of 30 countries in the APAC and AMET
region having one source code.
Responsibilities:
Functional ,GUI, Usability, Database, Adhoc & Regression testing of the
application.
