– 1.14 kgs per capita
– 34% of this amount is organic, approximately
– C & H: Meal, vegetable waste, bread etc.
• 4000+ people live in Bilkent campus!
• 3 mass food production centers
• No seperation of inorganic/organic waste
at source

ecological footprint rates for Bilkent

• Research on the similar applications of
organic solid waste collection & recycling
activities
• Interview with Bilkent University authorities
to get information about organic waste
recycling implementation
• A survey within Bilkent community to
measure the consciousness & potential
effectiveness of the solutions proposed
