This document contains pre and post-test results from four students who participated in a 3-week exercise program. It shows changes in their vital signs, body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength and flexibility. Goals and backgrounds are also provided for each student.
Gained about 6 pounds Didn’t use skin folds because pre test was pretty inaccurate because of my inexperience He could’ve exceeded 85 curl ups, but I stopped him there
Swiss db bench, swiss db incline, push ups w/ row, plate shoulder rotation w/ front raise….3 min rest for full recovery
Lost weight, but her BMI was in the underweight category even during the pretest
Gained 7 pounds, said she would get dizzy after exercise but didn’t know if it was dehydration or not, would be tired after walking up a flight of stairs
Intimidating at first (especially the vehicle your driving costs about 70,000 dollars and weighs 11,000 pounds), but you just have to jump in with confidence. Want to make good ice right away, but may not know how yet. Learn from mistakes (hitting boards, clogging the augers). Once you get to know the Zamboni, you start to learn from it. No two zamboni’s ride exactly the same (one client isn’t like the other). It’s hard to really understand how to drive the Zamboni until you actually do it. (Hard to understand why some clients were unmotivated and don’t like to exercise)
