2. Welcome Veterans
• The office of veteran affairs at SUNY Broome is approved by the
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as a training facility for veterans and
other eligible students. There are more than 100 student veterans who are
attending classes and receiving veteran's benefits; tutorial assistance; referrals
for counseling for financial, vocational and academic problems; veterans
work-study job information; and important information about resources
available to them at the college.
